10.2.1 Set Camera Info

Customize specic informaon for the device. It may help idenfy a certain device when mulple

devices are under management.

Go to VCA → Set Applicaon → General Sengs → Camera Info to set Device No. and Camera

Info.

10.3 People Counng

People counng is used to calculate the number of people entering or exing an area. It is widely

applied to the entrances and exits.

For certain device models, you need to enable People Counng on VCA page rst.

●

The funcon is only supported by certain device models.

10.3.1 Rule Sengs

Set the calibraon and detecon rules for people counng.

Before You Start

The camera is recommended to be installed right above the entrance/exit, and make sure it is

installed properly. Refer to Quick Start Guide for installaon advice.

Go to VCA and select the applicaon. Select People Counng and click Next to enable the

funcon.

Steps

Go to VCA → Set Applicaon → People Counng .

Set up the camera calibraon. Auto calibraon and manual calibraon are selectable.

Auto Calibraon Camera automacally calculates the installaon parameters. Refer to

Auto Calibraon for details.

The installaon parameters should be measured by users. Refer to

Manual Calibraon for details.

Note

If the level ground area occupies less than 25% of the whole image, use manual calibraon.

Go to People Counng Rule Conguraon, and check Enable to enable the funcon.

Click to draw a red rule area.
