Before You Start

Ensure the engine mode is set as Hard Hat Detecon. You can go to Conguraon → System →

VCA Conguraon to congure the engine mode.

Steps

Note

●

The camera installaon lt angle is recommended to be 20° to 60°.

●

When people are standing straightly in the image, the length of people should be larger than

25% of the total image length.

●

There should not be too many people in the detecon area.

1. Go to Conguraon → VCA → Hard Hat Detecon .

2. Select a camera.

3. Select an analysis mode.

Real Time

Provide real-me intelligent analysis for the video stream of the IP camera(s).

Auto-Switch

Provide sequenal intelligent analysis for the video stream of the IP camera. (Once one IP

camera only).

4. Check Enable Without Hard Hat Detecon or Hard Hat Detecon as your desire.

Note

The device will analyze the video, cameras only transmit video stream.

5. Oponal: Check Overlay Rule Frame or Overlay Target Frame.

Overlay Rule Frame

The rule frame will be displayed on the captured picture.

Overlay Target Frame

The target frame will be displayed on the captured picture.

6. Set the detecon area.

1) Set Region. You can select a region number for the detecon area.

2) Click Draw Area to draw the detecon area in the preview window.

3) Click Stop Drawing.

4) Click Save.

7. Set the arming schedule. Refer to Congure Arming Schedule .

8. Set linkage acons. Refer to Congure Linkage Acons . If you requires to recognize the people

who are not wearing hard hat, check Face Recognion.

9. If you have enabled Face Recognion in Linkage Method, you shall set the face picture library

and face grading parameters.

1) Select the face picture libraries and set the similarity for each face picture library. If the

similarity of face picture exceeds the value, it will trigger an alarm.
