4. OPERATION

4.1. CHANGING SOLDERING TIP

4.1.1. Ensure that the soldering iron tip is cold, select the appropriate tip and remove the current tip by applying a quarter turn to the tip

 collar.Mounttherequiredtipbyliningupthelugs,slidingthecollardownthetoolandapplyingaquarterturn.

4.2. CHARGING

4.2.1. WhenconnectedtoaUSBpowersupplytheLEDinthehandlewillshowredwhilechargingandwillturngreenwhenfullycharged.

4.3. USING THE SOLDERING IRON

4.3.1. SlidetheHeatingandLEDcontrolslider(g.2)forwardtopreparethetoolforsoldering.

4.3.2. DepresstheredbuttonontopoftheslidecontroltoheatthetipandtoturnontheLED.Whiletheredbuttonisdepressedthetip

 willcontinuetoheat.Ifthebuttonisreleasedthepowerise󰀨ectivelyswitchedo󰀨.

4.3.3. WhentheworkisdoneensurethattheHeatingandLEDcontrolsliderisreturnedtotheO󰀨position(g.2)andthatthetipiscold

 beforestoringtheironbackinit’sbox.

5. MAINTENANCE

5.1. Ifsoiled,cleanthetoolusingusingaclean,dampcloth.DO NOTgetthetoolwet.
