5. OPERATION

5.1. CHANGING SOLDERING TIP

5.1.1. Ensure that the soldering iron tip is cold, select the appropriate tip and remove the current tip by applying a quarter turn to the tip

 collar.Mounttherequiredtipbyliningupthelugs,slidingthecollardownthetoolandapplyingaquarterturn.

5.2. CHARGING

5.2.1. WhenconnectedtoaUSBpowersupplytheLEDinthehandlewillshowredwhilechargingandwillturngreenwhenfullycharged.

5.3. USING THE SOLDERING IRON

5.3.1. SlidetheHeatingandLEDcontrolslider(g.2)forwardtopreparethetoolforsoldering.

5.3.2. DepresstheredbuttonontopoftheslidecontroltoheatthetipandtoturnontheLED.Whiletheredbuttonisdepressedthetip

 willcontinuetoheat.Ifthebuttonisreleasedthepowerise󰀨ectivelyswitchedo󰀨.

5.3.3. WhentheworkisdoneensurethattheHeatingandLEDcontrolsliderisreturnedtotheO󰀨position(g.2)andthatthetipiscold

 beforestoring.

6. MAINTENANCE
