OverlayImage

Anoverlayimageisastaticimagesuperimposedoverthevideostream.Theimage,forexamplecompanylogo,isusedtoprovide

extrainformationortomaskapartoftheimage.

Sinceitisstatic,thepositionandsizeofanoverlayimagewillremainthesameregardlessofresolutionanddigitalPan/Tilt

movements.Tosetupadynamicmask,whichwillalwaysmaskaspeciedpartofthemonitoredarea,seePrivacyMask.

Touseanoverlayimage,theimagemustrstbeuploadedtotheAxisproduct:

1.GotoVideo&Audio>OverlayImage.

2.ClickBrowseandbrowsetothele.

3.ClickUpload.

4.SelecttheimagetousefromtheUseoverlayimagelist.

5.ClickSave.

Todisplaytheoverlayimage:

1.GotoVideo&Audio>VideoStreamandselecttheImagetab.

2.UnderOverlaySettings,selectIncludeoverlayimageatthecoordinatesandentertheXandYcoordinates.

3.ClickSave.

PrivacyMask

Aprivacymaskisanareaofsolidcolorthatprohibitsusersfromviewingpartsofthemonitoredarea.Privacymaskscannotbe

bypassedviatheVAPIX®ApplicationProgrammingInterface(API).

ThePrivacyMaskList(Video&Audio>PrivacyMask)showsallthemasksthatarecurrentlyconguredintheAxisproductand

indicatesiftheyareenabled.

Youcanaddanewmask,re-sizethemaskwiththemouse,chooseacolorforthemask,andgivethemaskaname.

Focus&Zoom

Focusandzoomshouldonlybeconguredwheninstallingorreinstallingtheproduct.Forinstallationinstructions,refertothe

product’sInstallationGuide.

Tosetfocusandzoom:

1.InstallthecameraasdescribedintheInstallationGuide.

2.GotoVideo&Audio>Focus&Zoom.

3.OntheBasictab,setthezoomlevelusingtheslider.Thebuttons<and>movethezoompositiononestepineither

direction.Thebuttons<<and>>movethezoompositioninmultiplestepsineitherdirection.

4.ClickPerformautofocustofocusthecameraautomatically.

5.Ifmoreadjustmentsareneeded,gototheAdvancedtab.
