1. SAFETY

 WARNING! Remove the battery pack from the cordless multipurpose mini grinder before changing accessories, servicing or

performing any maintenance.

9 Maintain the cordless multipurpose mini grinder in good condition. Check moving parts alignment on a regular basis.

9 Replace or repair damaged parts. Use an authorised service agent and recommended parts only. Unauthorised parts may be

dangerous and will invalidate the warranty.

9  Ensurethecordlessmultipurposeminigrinderisswitchedo󰀨beforeinstallingthebatterypack.

9 Keep the cordless multipurpose mini grinder clean for best and safest performance.

9  Removeillttingclothing.Removeties,watches,ringsandotherloosejewelleryandcontainlonghair.

9  Evaluateyourworkingareabeforeusingthecordlessmultipurposeminigrindere.g.ceilings,oorsandenclosuresmaycontain 

electrical items or water piping.

9 Ensure battery pack (sold separately) is correctly inserted into the cordless multipurpose mini grinder and latched in place before

attempting to switch on.

9 Secure loose work pieces with a clamp, vice or other adequate holding device (not supplied).

9 Avoid unintentional starting.

9 Wear approved safety eye protection (standard spectacles are not adequate).

9  Maintaincorrectbalanceandfooting.Ensuretheoorisnotslipperyandwearnon-skidshoes.

9 Keep children and unauthorised persons away from the working area.

9 Store the cordless multipurpose mini grinder and accessories in the original box, in a safe, dry, childproof area where the

temperature will not exceed 104°F (40°C).

8 DO NOT allow children to operate the cordless multipurpose mini grinder.

8 DO NOT hold unsecured work piece in your hand.

5. OPERATION

Unpack the product and check contents. Should there be any damaged or missing parts contact your supplier immediately.

 Beforeuse,ensurethatyouhavereadandunderstoodsection1SafetyInstructions.

5.1. SWITCHING ON AND OFF

Also refer to sections 7 and 8.

5.1.1. Insertthebattery.

5.1.2.  ToturnthecordlessmultipurposeminigrinderOnsettheOn/O󰀨switch(g1-1)to“I”.

5.1.3.  ToturnthecordlessmultipurposeminigrinderO󰀨settheOn/O󰀨switch(g1-1)to“O”.

5.2. SETTING THE SPEED RANGE

5.2.1. Setthespeedcontroldial(g1-5)toapositionbetween“1”and“MAX”.

5.3. CHECKING THE BATTERY CHARGE LEVEL

5.3.1.  Insertthebattery.

5.3.2.  SettheOn/O󰀨switch(g1-1)tothe“I”position.

5.3.3.  TheremainingchargewillbeshownonthebatterychargelevelLED(g1-2)asfollows:

Red/Orange/Green = maximum charge

Red/Orange = medium charge

  Red=lowcharge-re-chargethebattery

5.4. CHANGING THE COLLET CHUCK

5.4.1. Ensure the cordlessmultipurposeminigrinderisswitchedo󰀨andthebatteryremoved.

5.4.2.  Pressthespindlelockbutton(g1-4)andholditdown.

5.4.3.  Keepingpressureonthespindlelockbutton(g1-4)turnthecolletnut(g1-3)untilthespindlelockclicksintoplace.

5.4.4.  Undothecolletnut(g1-3)fromthethreadedoutputshaftusingthecombinationspannerandremove.

5.4.5.  Selecttheappropriatecolletchuck(g1-6)andinsertcentrallyintotheopeninginthethreadedoutputshaft.

5.4.6.  Replacethecolletnut(g1-3)andscrewngertightonly.Releasethespindlelockbutton(g1-4).

5.5. INSERTING THE ACCESSORY TOOL

5.5.1. Repeat sections 5.4.1 to 5.4.3.

5.5.2.  Selectthetoolrequiredandinsertthetoolshaftcentrallyintotheappropriatecolletchuck(g1-6).

5.5.3.  Fullytightenthecolletnut(g1-3)usingthecombinationspanner.Releasethespindlelockbutton(g1-4).

NOTE: Use the screwdriver end of the combination spanner to undo and tighten the screw on the mandrels.

5.6. OPERATING THE CORDLESS MULTIPURPOSE MINI GRINDER

5.6.1. Select the speed required. See section 5.2

5.6.2.  Selectcolletchuckandthetoolingaccessoryrequired.Seesections5.4and5.5.Re-insertthebatterypack.

5.6.3.  Holdthecordlessmultipurposeminigrinderrmlybytheinsulatedgrippingsurfacesandturnthecordlessmultipurposemini 

grinder ON. See section 5.1.

8 DO NOT switch the cordless multipurpose mini grinder ON if the accessory tool is in contact with the workpiece. Allow the cordless

multipurpose mini grinder to reach the required speed before applying it to the workpiece.

8 DO NOT press the spindle lock button when the cordless multipurpose mini grinder is running.

WARNING!Ensurethatthecolletnut(fig1-3)isfullytightened,andthatthetoolingspindleisexactlymatchedtothe  

corresponding collet chuck. Accessory tools which do not fit precisely with the collet chuck, or become loose, will rotate unevenly,

  vibrate,or“fly”offviolentlywhichcanleadtoalossofcontrolandtheriskofpersonalinjury.

 WARNING! The brush accessory tool can loose wire bristles during normal operation. DO NOT apply excessive pressure to the wire

brush as the discarded wire bristles can easily penetrate light clothing and/or skin.

ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION

6. MAINTENANCE

6.1. Use a clean cloth to remove dirt, dust, oil, grease etc.
