• Open the back battery compartment with a screwdriver and install
4 AA batteries (not included).
• Close the lid and flatten the mat.
• Press MODE 1/2 to select music mode:
Mode 1 = drums only
Mode 2 = play along with background music.
Press “SELECT” to choose a built-in backup track.
• MP3 function: Connect an external device (MP3 player, tablet, smartphone, CD player, etc.)
using the included 3.5mm audio cable. The drums will be able to play along with your favorite
songs. NOTE: The built-in songs are disabled when an external music device is connected.
• Microphone function: Connect the included headset to the Rock ‘N’ Roll Electronic Drum Mat.
Now you can sing along with the drums, and your voice will be heard on the built-in speakers.
• Adjustable volume: Turn the volume knob to find a comfortable volume level.
PLAYING TIP: For best results, place the Rock ‘N’ Roll Electronic Drum Mat on a hard surface —
wood, tile, linoleum, etc.
BATTERY WARNING AND CAUTION
• Battery replacement must be done by an adult.
• Be sure batteries are inserted with the correct polarity.
• Do not mix alkaline, standard and rechargeable batteries.
• Do not mix old and new batteries.
• Keep batteries out of the reach of children at all times.
• Do not use any sharp items on the mat.
• The mat is not washable. Spot clean only.
