•Usestrongpasswordsforallnetworkdevices(cameras,videoencoders,andauxiliarydevices).

•Installserver,cameras,videoencoders,andauxiliarydevicesonasecurenetworkseparatefromtheofcenetwork.You

caninstalltheclientonacomputeronanothernetwork,forexample,anetworkwithinternetaccess.

•Makesureallusershavestrongpasswords.WindowsActiveDirectoryprovidesahighlevelofsecurity.

Eachcardformathasadifferentsetofrulesforhowtoorganizethestoredinformation.Bydeningacardformat,youtellthe

systemhowtointerprettheinformationthatthecontrollergetsfromthecardreader.

Therearepredenedcommonlyusedcardformatsavailableforyoutouseastheyareoreditasrequired.Youcanalsocreate
