SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

• ELECTRICAL SAFETY

• WARNING! It is the user’s responsibility to check the following:

• Check all electrical equipment and appliances to ensure that they are safe before using. Inspect power supply leads, plugs and all electrical

connections for wear and damage. Dellonda recommend that an RCD (Residual Current Device) is used with all electrical products. You may

obtain an RCD by contacting your local domestic stockist. If the product is used in the course of business duties, it must be maintained in a

safe condition and routinely PAT (Portable Appliance Test) tested.

• Electrical safety information: It is important that the following information is read and understood.

• Ensure that the insulation on all cables and on the appliance is safe before connecting it to the power supply.

• Regularly inspect power supply cables and plugs for wear or damage and check all connections to ensure that they are secure.

• Important: Ensure that the voltage rating on the appliance suits the power supply to be used and that the plug is tted with the correct fuse - see

fuse rating in these instructions.

• DO NOT pull or carry the appliance by the power cable.

• DO NOT pull the plug from the socket by the cable.

• DO NOT use worn or damaged cables, plugs or connectors.

• Ensure that any faulty item is repaired or replaced immediately by a qualied electrician.

• This product is tted with a BS1363/A 3 pin plug. If the cable or plug is damaged

during use, switch off the electricity supply and remove from use. Ensure that repairs are

carried out by a qualied electrician.

• Replace a damaged plug with a BS1363/A 3 pin plug. If in doubt contact a qualied electrician.

A) Connect the GREEN/YELLOW earth wire to the earth terminal ‘E’.

B) Connect the BROWN live wire to the live terminal ‘L’.

C) Connect the BLUE neutral wire to the neutral terminal ‘N’.

• Ensure that the cable outer sheath extends inside the cable restraint and that the restraint is tight.

• Dellonda recommend that installation and repairs are carried out by a qualied electrician.

• GENERAL SAFETY

• WARNING! If the door or door seals are damaged, the oven must not be operated until it has been repaired by a trained person.

• WARNING! It is hazardous for anyone other than a trained person to carry out any service or repair operation, which involves the removal of any

cover, which gives protection against exposure to microwave energy.

• WARNING! Liquids or other food must not be heated in sealed containers since they are liable to explode.

• Only use utensils that are suitable for use in microwave ovens.

• Metallic containers for food and beverages are not allowed during microwave cooking.

• When heating food in plastic or paper containers, keep an eye on the oven due to the possibility of ignition.

• The microwave oven is intended for heating food and beverages. Drying of food or clothing and heating of warming pads, slippers, sponges,

damp cloth and similar may lead to risk of injury, ignition or re.

• If smoke is observed, switch off or unplug the appliance and keep the door closed in order to stie any ames.

• Microwave heating of beverages can result in delayed eruptive boiling, therefore care has to be taken when handling the container.

• The contents of feeding bottles and baby food jars are to be stirred or shaken and the temperature is to be checked before consumption, in order

to avoid burns.

• Eggs in their shell and whole hard boiled eggs shall not be heated in microwave ovens since they may explode, even after microwave heating has

ended.

• Failure to maintain the oven in a clean condition could lead to deterioration of the surface that could adversely affect the life of the appliance and

possibly result in a hazardous situation.

• Care should be taken not to displace the turntable when removing containers from the appliance.

• The appliance shall not be cleaned with a steam cleaner.

• The appliance must not be installed equal or higher than 900 mm above the oor. Minimum height of free space necessary above the top surface

of the oven: See the installation drawing on the next page.

• WARNING! When the appliance is operated in the combination mode, children should only use the oven under adult supervision due to the

temperatures generated.

• CAUTION: HOT SURFACES

• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent or a similarly qualied person in order to avoid a

hazard.

• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of

experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the

hazards involved.

• Children shall not play with the appliance.

• Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.

• The plug must be easily accessible after installation of the appliance.

of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand

the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without details

indicating the correct installation of the shelves.

INSTALLATION

• The position of the oven shall be such that it is far from the TV, Radio or

antenna as picture disturbance , or noise may occur.

• The appliance must be positioned so that the plug is accessible.

• This is a cabinet microwave oven, which is subject to PRECAUTIONS and

INSTALLATION below.

• PRECAUTIONS:

• Given the limited room of the cabinet, the microwave oven must be installed

under the following instructions so as to avoid danger.

• INSTALLATION:

• a) Drill the frame screw hole rst, as shown in Fig.1.

• b) Installation of supporting seat, as shown in Fig.2.

• c) Install the two metal spacers in the bottom of product and x them, as shown in Fig.3.

• d) Put the product into the cabinet till the metal spacers fall down, as shown in Fig.3.

• e) Open the door, then x it with screws, as shown in Fig.5. Install the plastic cover over the screw hole.

CLEANING

• CAUTION: The oven should be cleaned regularly and any food deposits removed.

• a. WARNING! Remove the mains plug from the wall outlet before cleaning.

Don’t immerse the appliance in water or other uids when cleaning.

• b. Failure to maintain the oven in a clean condition could lead to deterioration of the surface

that could adversely affect the life of the appliance and possibly result in a hazardous

situation.

• c. Never use strong detergent, gasoline, abrasive powder or metal brushes to clean any part of

the appliance.

• d. Do not remove the waveguide cover.

• e. When the microwave oven has been used for a long time, there may be some strange odours

in the oven, following 3 methods can get rid of them:

• 1) Place several lemon slices in a cup, then heat with high micro power for 2-3 min.

• 2) Place a cup of red tea in oven, then heat with high micro power.

• 3) Put some orange peel into oven, and then heat them with high micro power for 1 minute.

• WARNING: Only allow children to use the oven without supervision when adequate instructions

have been given so that the child is able to use the oven in a safe way and understands the

hazards of improper use.

• TIPS FOR CLEANING

• Details for cleaning door seals, cavity and adjacent parts:

• Exterior: Wipe the enclosure with a dampened soft cloth

• Door: Using a dampened soft cloth, wipe clean the door and window

• Wipe the door seals and adjacent parts to remove any spill or spatter

• Wipe the control panel with a slightly dampened soft cloth

• Interior walls:

• Wipe clean the cavity with a dampened soft cloth

• Wipe clean the waveguide cover to remove any food splashed

• Turntable/ Rotation ring/ Rotation axis:

• Wash with mild soap water

• Rinse with clean water and allow to dry.

OPERATION

• 1. BEFORE COOKING

• The LED ashes 3 times when plugged into power supply. Then it ashes “1:00”,

prompting you to input the cooking menu and time.

• 2. AUTO COOKING/ TIME, WEIGHT KNOB

• You can increase or decrease cooking time, weight or select auto cooking menu during

operation by turning Auto Cooking/ Time.

• Weight knob.

• 3. PAUSE/CANCEL

• At the initial or input stage: press once to cancel input programs and resume initial stage.

• During cooking: press once to stop oven operation, press twice to cancel cooking

programs.

• 4. AUTO REMINDER

• When preset cooking procedure has nished, the LED Display will show End and three

beeps sound will be heard to prompt you to take out food. If you do not press Pause/

Cancel button once or open the door, the beep will be sounded at an interval of 3 minutes.

• 5. INSTANT COOKING

• On the standby status, press Instant/Start button, the oven will start cooking with high

power, system default cooking time is 1 minute. Increase or decrease cooking time by

turning the knob.

• 6. CLOCK SETTING

• Clock button makes it available for you to input current or preset time when “:” ashes

onto LCD display after the appliance has been plugged in, or try to skip it over to continue

if unnecessary.

• This button is with three functions: set clock, preset and set defrost menu. If you want to set clock, you need to press and hold this button for 3

seconds, while just press this button once to enter defrost state.

• 7. MICROWAVE COOKING

• This function is for cooking and heating food. Press Micro Power button, LED will cycle to show 100P—80P—60P—40P—20P.

• WHEN YOUR APPLIANCE IS CONNECTED TO YOUR MAINS SUPPLY FOR THE FIRST TIME, THE POWER

INDICATOR LIGHT WILL COME ON, AFTER SELECTING THE COOKING FUNCTION AND SETTING A

TEMPERATURE, THE OPERATING LIGHT WILL COME ON AND THE OVEN WILL START WORKING, FINALLY

SETTING THE COOKING TIME;(THE COOKING TIME IS FROM 0MIN TO 120MINS, REVOLVING THE KNOB IN

CLOCKWISE DIRECTION TO THE CORRESPONDING TIME ON PANEL WHEN SETTING THE COOKING TIME.

• CAUTION!

• a. The max time which can be set is 60 minutes.

• b. Never operate the oven empty.

• c. If you turn the food during operation, press the Instant/Start button once and the preset cooking procedure will continue.

• d. If you intend to remove the food before the preset time, you must press Pause/Cancel button once to clear the preset procedure to avoid

unintended operation of next time use.

• e. At the maximum microwave power, the oven will automatically lower the power after a certain time of cooking to lengthen the service life.

Example: To cook at P80 for 10 minutes.
