minimumcolorsaturation.

TheimageBrightnesscanbeadjustedintherange0–100,whereahighervalueproducesabrighterimage.

IncreasingtheSharpnesscanincreasebandwidthusage.Asharperimagemightincreaseimagenoiseespeciallyinlowlight

conditions.Alowersettingreducesimagenoise,butthewholeimagewillappearlesssharp.

TheContrastchangestherelativedifferencebetweenlightanddark.Itcanbeadjustedusingtheslidebar.

LocalContrastappliescontrasttoaspecicareaoftheimage.Usetheslidertoadjustthecontrast,whereahighervalueproduces

animagewithhighcontrastbetweenthedarkandlightareas.

WhiteBalance

Whitebalanceisusedtomakecolorsintheimageappearthesameregardlessofthecolortemperatureofthelightsource.TheAxis

productcanbesettoautomaticallyidentifythelightsourceandcompensateforitscolor.Alternatively,selectthetypeoflight

sourcefromthedrop-downlist.Foradescriptionofeachavailablesetting,seetheonlinehelp

WideDynamicRange

Widedynamicrange(WDR-ForensicCapture)providesbalancedimagesinsceneswhenthereisaconsiderablecontrastbetween

lightanddarkareasintheimage.Thecameraautomaticallyhandlesthetransitionbetweensuchscenesandlow-lightconditions.In

rarelightconditionsdisablingWDRmightgiveabetterimage.

UseWDRincombinationwithautomaticexposurecontrol.Otherexposuresettingscouldgiveundesirableresults.

ExposureSettings

AutomaticBacklightCompensation-Theexposurealgorithmautomaticallyadjuststheexposuretocompensateforpotential

backlightsources.Forparticularlytroublesomescenes,netuningoftheAutomaticBacklightControlispossiblethroughtheuse

oftheExposurevalueslider.
