Description of Parts

Before the First Use of Your Jug Blender
• Remove all packing materials and discard responsibly.
• Ensure all parts are present see Description of Parts above.
• Remove the Jug (3) and wash in warm soapy water, rinse and dry thoroughly.
• Do not immerse the Motor Unit (6) in water or any other liquids.
• Do not use harsh or abrasive cleaners.
• Not Dishwasher safe, do not clean any part of your Jug Blender in a dishwasher.
Hand wash only.
WARNING! The blades on this Jug Blender are not removable from
the inside of the jug and are very sharp; extreme caution should be
taken when cleaning the inside of the jug.
WARNING! DO NOT use the blender to process hot foods or liquids.
Add a little water when blending fruit and vegetables.

Pulse/Speed Control
Using Your Jug Blender
1. Place the Motor Unit (6) on a solid level surface.
The appliance has a safety interlock device that prevents it
from being operated if the jug is removed or is not positioned
with the handle to the right-hand side of the appliance as in
the image right.
2. Ensure the Pulse/Speed Control (7) is set to the ‘0’ off position.
3. Place the Jug (3) onto the Motor Unit (6) and turn the Jug (3)
clockwise until it clicks and locks into place as shown right.
4. Add the ingredients to be blended into the Jug (3), further
ingredients can be added by removing the Measuring Cup
(1) in the centre of the Jug Lid (2). Replace the Measuring
Cup (1) before use.
5. Replace the Jug Lid (2) by rotating clockwise, until it clicks and locks into place.
Do not overfill and exceed the MAX mark on the Jug (3).
The Jug Lid (2) must be locked in place for the blender to operate.
6. Plug the unit into the mains supply.

7. Set the speed on the Pulse/Speed Control (7) to blend
the ingredients to the required consistency.
The speed can be adjusted clockwise to increase speed or
anti-clockwise to decrease speed during blending.
Ensure that the Lid is fitted whilst blending and never
remove the lid mid blend.
DO NOT blend continuously for more than 3 minutes at a
time, after each blending cycle, stop and allow the unit to
cool.
Using the Pulse Control
The “Pulse” setting allows quick blending of ingredients,
which is ideal for blending larger foods such as chunky
vegetables. Rotate the Pulse/Speed Control (7) anticlockwise
from the ‘0’ position to the ‘P’ position.
Using the Grinder
1. Place the ingredients into the Grinder Cup (8) and screw
the Grinder Blade (9) on top of the cup.
2. Turn the grinder the other way up and align
the Grinder Blade (9) with the Motor Unit (6)
and turn the Grinder Cup (8) clockwise until
it clicks and locks into place.
3. Ensure that the Pulse/Speed Control (7) is set to the ‘0’ off position.
4. Plug the unit into the mains supply.
5. Set the desired speed on the Pulse/Speed Control (7) to grind ingredients.
DO NOT run the grinder for more than 30 seconds at a time.
6. Allow the Grinder Blade (9) to come to a complete stop before removing the
Grinder Cup (8) from the Motor Unit (6).
7. Turn the Grinder Cup (8) upside down, allow the ingredients to fall to the
bottom of the upturned Jar and carefully remove the Grinder Blade (9).
WARNING! DO NOT use the grinder to process hot foods or liquids.

Care and Maintenance
Always disconnect the Jug Blender from the mains power supply before cleaning.
WARNING! The blades on this Jug Blender are not removable from the inside
of the jug and are very sharp; extreme caution should be taken when cleaning
the inside of the jug.
For quick cleaning pour a little lukewarm water into the jug or Grinder and select
the low speed setting on the Pulse/Speed Control (7) for a few seconds, empty
the Jug (3) and rinse.
1. To detach the Blending Blade (5) from the Jug (3),
a) Place the Jug (3) upside down.
b) Rotate the Blending Blade (5) anticlockwise,
c) Remove the silicon ring out of the Blending Blade (5).
2. To detach the Grinder Blade (9) from Grinder Cup (8),
d) Place The Grinder Cup (8) upside down.
e) Rotate the Grinder Blade (9) anticlockwise,
f) Remove the silicon ring out of the Grinder Blade (9).
3. Clean all component parts in warm soapy water, rinse and dry thoroughly.
4. Wipe the outer surface of the Motor Unit (6) with a damp cloth.
5. DO NOT use harsh or abrasive cleaners.

6. DO NOT immerse any part of the Motor Unit (6) or cable in water or any other
liquid.
7. Not Dishwasher safe, do not clean any part of your Jug Blender in a dishwasher.

Your blender is perfect for making refreshing smoothies, the 1.5L capacity
provides ample volume for multiple servings. Please see the following smoothie

Fruit Smoothie
Ingredients
250g Red Grapes
200g Strawberries
120g Banana (peeled)
150g Ice Cubes
Method
1. Place all ingredients into the Jug in the order listed above and secure the lid.
2. Start the blender on its lowest speed and then gradually increase to its highest
speed.
3. Blend for 1 minute, or until desired consistency is reached. If required add a
little water to mix to provide a more liquid consistency.
4. Serve immediately.
Fruit Salad Smoothie
Ingredients
50g Green Grapes
85g Orange (peeled)
50g Pineapple (peeled)
25g Cucumber (peeled)
1/2 Carrot (peeled and chopped)
20g Apple
150g Ice Cubes
Method
1. Place all ingredients into the Jug in the order listed above and secure the lid.
2. Start the blender on its lowest speed and then gradually increase to its highest
speed.
3. Blend for 1 minute and 30 seconds, or until desired consistency is reached. If
required add a little water to mix to provide a more liquid consistency.
4. Serve immediately.

Ingredients
150ml Milk
1 Banana (peeled)
30g Peanut Butter
180g Raspberries
75g Ice Cubes
Method
1. Place all ingredients into the Jug in the order listed above and secure the lid.
2. Start the blender on its lowest speed and then gradually increase to its highest
speed.
3. Blend for 1 minute, or until desired consistency is reached. If required add a
little water to mix to provide a more liquid consistency.
