• DO NOT immerse the appliance or its cord in water or any
other liquids.
• DO NOT leave the appliance unattended during use.
• DO NOT leave the appliance unattended whilst connected
to the mains supply.
• Always use this appliance on a solid, level, non-flammable
surface.
• DO NOT use this appliance outdoors.
• It is imperative to unplug the power cord after the
appliance has been used, before it is cleaned and whilst
being repaired.
• Repairs to electrical appliances should only be performed
by qualified personnel. Improper repairs may place user at
serious risk.
• DO NOT operate this appliance with a damaged plug or
cord, after a malfunction or after being dropped or
damaged in any way.
• Regular, periodic checks should be carried out on the
power cord to ensure no damage is evident. Should there
be any signs of damage the appliance should not be used.
• If the power cord is damaged, it should only be replaced
by the manufacturer or a suitable qualified after-sales-

• DO NOT push objects into any openings as damage to the
appliance and/or electric shock may occur.
• Switch off the appliance and disconnect from the supply
before changing accessories or approaching parts that
move in use.
• Grasp the plug, not the cord.
• DO NOT touch the blades whilst the appliance is
connected to the mains.
• Wash the blades in warm soapy water, rinse and dry
thoroughly.
WARNING! The blades on this appliances are sharp;
extreme caution should be taken whilst cleaning.
• The maximum operating time should not exceed 3 minutes.
• Allow 20 minutes rest time between two consecutive 3 minute
operating cycles.

Description of Parts & Accessories
Before first Use of Your Hand Mixer
• Remove all packing materials and discard responsibly.
• Check that all parts are present – See ‘Description of Parts & Accessories’
above.
• Before using the mixer for the first time, wash the Whisk Attachments (4) in
warm soapy water and dry thoroughly afterwards.
• Do not immerse the Main Body (3) of the mixer in water or any other liquids.
WARNING! The blades on this hand mixer set are sharp; extreme caution should
be taken whilst cleaning.
• Do not clean any part of your hand mixer in a dishwasher
• Wipe over the Main Body (3) with a clean damp sponge or cloth.
• Do not use harsh or abrasive cleaners.
Attaching and Removing the Whisk Attachments (4)
WARNING! Ensure that the mixer is disconnected from the mains before
removing or inserting the Whisk Attachments (4).
1. To insert both Whisk Attachments (4), push each one into one of the two holes
on the underside of the Main Body (3) of the mixer until they lock into place and
do not fall out.
The Whisk Attachments (4) may need to be rotated a little for them to insert
fully.

2. To remove the Whisk Attachments (4), hold the attachments and press the
Attachment Eject Button (5) to eject the Whisk Attachments (4).
Using the Hand Mixer
1. Place the Whisk Attachments (4) into the hand mixer as described above.
2. Insert the mains plug into the nearest socket.
3. Place the whisk attachments into the food before operating the mixer to
prevent splattering.
4. Push the Speed Control Switch (1) to the right to start mixing, move the switch
forwards from 1 to 5 to change the mixing speed from low to high.
5. The speed will be dependent on both the quantity and consistency of the food
being mixed, use lower speeds for small quantities and softer foods and the
higher speeds for larger quantities and harder foods.
6. Return the Speed Control Switch (1) fully left to the ‘O’ position to switch off
the mixer.
Care and Maintenance of Your Hand Mixer
WARNING! The blades are sharp, extreme caution should be taken whilst
cleaning.
• Always disconnect the mixer from the pains power supply and remove the plug
from the socket outlet before carrying out any cleaning.
• Do not immerse the Main Body (3) in water or any other liquids.
• Remove any accessories from the Main Body (3) and clean with a clean damp
cloth.
• Wash the accessories only in warm soapy water and dry thoroughly afterwards.
• Do not use harsh or abrasive scouring pads, powders or cleaners.
• Do not place in a dishwasher.
• Store in a dry cool place away from direct heat and sunlight.
Non-Wireable Mains Plug
If your appliance is supplied with a non-wireable plug fitted to the mains lead and
should the fuse need replacing, you must use an ASTA approved one (conforming
to BS 1362 of the same rating). Never use a plug with the fuse cover missing. If in
doubt, consult a qualified electrician.
If you need to remove the plug – DISCONNECT FROM THE MAINS – and then cut it
off the mains lead and immediately dispose of it safely. Never attempt to reuse
the plug or insert it into a socket outlet as there is a danger of electric shock.
