Colorpalettes

Tohelpthehumaneyedistinguishdetailsinathermalimage,youcanapplyacolorpalettetotheimage.Thecolorsinthepaletteare

articiallycreatedpseudocolorsthatemphasizetemperaturedifferences.

Therearetwotypesofpalettes:

•Thermalpalettes:thecolorsinthesepalettesdon’tcorrespondtospecictemperaturesintheimage.Ifanoperator

watchesthevideostream,youcanchooseanyofthepalettes.Ifthevideostreamisonlyusedbyapplications,selectthe

white-hotpalette.

•Isothermalpalettes:thecolorsinthesepalettescorrespondtouser-denedtemperaturelevels.Thecoloredpartofthe

palettestartsatthelowesttemperaturedened.Thismakesobjectswithahighertemperaturestandoutintheimage.It's

theneasyforanoperatortoseewhatcausedthealarm.
