1. Put a seal on the flip-top lid. The seal should
fit snugly and evenly around the bottom
thread of the flip-top lid.
2. Thread the flip-top lid onto the 20 ounce
(0.6 L) personal cup in a clockwise direction
until just tight. DO NOT overtighten or
leaking can occur.

3. To open the flip-top lid, hold the personal cup with one hand, press the two tabs
on lid with the other hand and lift up to release.

Note: Clean the threads on the adapter and seals thoroughly to avoid ingredient build up. Ingredient
build up might cause problems when trying to remove the blade base from the personal cup if it has
been attached and allowed to sit for a long period of time.
Dishwasher:
The cup, lid, adapter and seals are dishwasher safe.
In-place Cleaning:
1. Fill the container half full with water and add a couple of drops of dishwashing liquid.
DO NOT BLEND HOT WATER.
2. Put a seal on the bottom thread of the adapter. The seal should fit snugly and evenly around
the thread. Thread the adapter onto the cup in a clockwise direction just until tight. Put the
cup and adapter onto the base.
3. Use Variable Speed:
a. Press Start / Stop.
b. Slowly increase variable speed to 10.
c. Run the machine for 60 seconds.
d. Rotate the Variable Speed dial back to Variable 1. Press Start / Stop.
4. Rinse and drain all pieces.
To Sanitize:
1. Follow the cleaning instructions above.
2. Fill the container half full with water and 1/2 teaspoons of liquid bleach. DO NOT BLEND
HOT WATER.
3. Put a seal on the bottom thread of the adapter. The seal should fit snugly and evenly
around the thread. Thread the adapter onto the cup in a clockwise direction just until tight.
Put the cup and adapter onto the base.
4. Use Variable Speed:
a. Press Start / Stop.
b. Slowly increase variable speed to 10.
c. Run the machine for 60 seconds.
d. Rotate the Variable Speed dial back to Variable 1. Press Start / Stop.
5. Allow mixture to stand in the container for an additional 1 ½ minutes.
6. Pour bleach mixture out. Allow container to air dry. Do not rinse after sanitizing.
