Chapter 5 Live View and Local Configuration
5.1 Live View
5.1.1 Start/Stop Live View
Click to start live view. Click to stop live view.
5.1.2 Select Image Display Mode
Click to display the image in 4:3/16:9/original/self-adaptive display mode.
5.1.3 Display Control
The device supports hardware and software decoding modes. In the two decoding modes, you can
select different display modes.
Hardware Decoding
Hardware decoding means the obtained live view video is decoded by the device itself. In
hardware decoding mode, five display modes are supported. Refer to the table below for details.
Note
In hardware decoding mode, once you switch a display mode, you need to reboot the device to
take the settings into effect.

Fisheye mode
In the fisheye mode, the whole wide-angle view of the fisheye
camera is displayed. This mode is called fisheye because it
approximates the vision of a fish's convex eye. The lens produces
curvilinear images of a large area, while distorting the perspective
and angles of objects in the image.
Two-image
calibration
mode
In two-image calibration mode, the round fisheye image is
transformed to two rectangular images by some calibration methods.
Four-image
calibration
In four-image calibration mode, the round fisheye image is
transformed to four rectangular images by some calibration
