Important Safeguards
Read all instructions. Do not throw away this safety guide.
Before use, please read these safety warnings carefully and use the kettle properly. These
safety warnings are indicated for the safe and proper use of this product, prevent danger
to the user or others, and damage property.
• Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handle or knob.
• To protect against fire, electric shock, and injury
to persons, do not immerse kettle, plug, or cord in
water or other liquid.
• Unplug when not in use and before cleaning.
Allow cooling before putting on or taking off parts.
Contact Customer Support.
• Do not use third-party replacement parts or
accessories, as this may cause injuries.
• Do not operate any appliance with a damaged
cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions
or has been damaged in any manner. Contact
Customer Support.
• Do not use outdoors.
• Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric
burner or in a heated oven. Always attach the
plug to the appliance first, then plug the cord into
the wall outlet. To disconnect, turn any control to
“off” then remove the plug from a wall outlet.
• Do not use the appliance for other than intended
use. For household use only.
• Do not use your kettle for any purpose other than
described in this manual.
• Not for commercial use. Household use only.
• To avoid burns and risk of personal injury, use
extreme caution when carrying a kettle containing
hot water.
• Do not use the kettle if your hands are wet.
• Position the kettle properly on the power base
before switching on.
• DO NOT HEAT AN EMPTY KETTLE: The concealed
heating element in the bottom of the kettle is
protected by an automatic safety device. If your
kettle is accidentally heated without being filled
or is allowed to boil dry, it will automatically cool
down and then turn off. If this happens, unplug the
kettle, fill it with cold water, and wait a few minutes
before replacing it on the base and plugging it in.
• Use the kettle only with a delivered power base.
• Do not use any other kettle on the delivered base
or any other base with a delivered kettle. Use only
the original, delivered pair together.
• After using the kettle, wait until the kettle has
cooled down before removing the lid.
• To avoid possible steam damage, turn spout
away from walls or cabinets during use.
• Scalding may occur if the lid is removed during
the brewing cycles. If the kettle is overfilled, boiling
water may be ejected.
• Never use your kettle without the parts in place.
• Keep your unit away from flammable materials.
Use on a flat, stable, heat-resistant surface away
from heat sources or liquid. The kettle is only to be
used with the stand provided.
• Warning: Avoid spillage on the connector.
• Warning: Potential injury from misuse.
• Do not remove the lid while the water is boiling.
• This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is
wider than the other). To reduce the risk of electric
shock, this plug is intended to fit into a polarized
outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully
into the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not
fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt
to modify the plug in any way.
• Keep the power cord away from hot surfaces.
Do not plug in the power cord or operate the Unit
controls with wet hands.
• Your kettle should only be used with 120V, 60 Hz
electrical systems. Do not plug into another type
of outlet.
• Use a protective pad under the kettle after it has
been heated to prevent damage to surfaces.
• To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do
not remove the bottom cover from the base or
disassemble the base or kettle in any way. There
are no user-serviceable parts inside. Repair
should be done by authorized service personnel
only. Opening base or kettle will result in a void of
the one-year warranty.

Before First Use
Test Run
Please read all use instructions thoroughly before
turning on and using your Baristan kettle.
1. Remove and discard any packaging material, promotional labels,
and tape from the Baristan kettle.
2. Remove the Baristan kettle lid and fill the kettle with water to MAX 1.0L line.
3. Close the lid by pressing down on the lid knob until it locks in place.
4. Make sure the Baristan kettle power base is plugged in, then place
the kettle on the base, ensuring that it is fully seated.
5. Press the Power ON/OFF button to start boiling process. Once boiling icon
reads on top of the screen it states that boiling cycle has started.
6. Once the boiling cycle is completed, the Baristan kettle will
beep to indicate that it has finished.
7. Lift the Baristan kettle off the base and discard the water. Repeat this
process one more time to ensure the Baristan kettle is clean and ready for use.

Getting To Know Your Kettle
Control Panel Display & Operating Buttons
1. Temperature Display
1. Temperature Display:

Live Temperature Readout: When the Baristan kettle is placed on the base,
the temperature display will show the current temperature of the water inside.
When a heating cycle is started, the temperature display will show the current
temperature of the water to track progress.
4. Power ON/OFF:
To turn Baristan on, quick press and release the Power ON/OFF button. The control panel will
light up. To turn Baristan off, press and hold Power ON/OFF button. The control panel will
turn black.
2. Manual Temperature Control:
Manually customize the water temperature using the + and - buttons to increase or
decrease by 1°F increments from 104°F to 212°F.
3. Brew Stopwatch:
After heating your water, use the built-in brew stopwatch to time your brew for a perfect
cup of pour over coffee. Press brew stopwatch button once to start countdown. Press once
and wait 6 seconds to turn off brew stopwatch.
Automatic Shutoff:
The kettle will automatically power off after 1 hour of inactivity.
Note: To change the temperature display from Fahrenheit to Celsius, press and hold
tempereature + and - buttons for 2 seconds.

Using Your Kettle
Note: The goal temperature displayed
will always start with the temperature last
selected when the kettle was in use.
To turn on the kettle, plug the power cord
into the socket. The control panel will
automatically turn on once
plugged in.
Powering On
The kettle will automatically power off after
1 hour of inactivity. To manually power off,
press and hold the POWER ON/OFF button
for 3 seconds.
Powering Off
Auto temperature hold is the kettle’s ability
to maintain desired temperature for 60
minutes after a heating cycle is completed.
Once the kettle reaches to desired set
temperature, the kettle will beep and
automatically activate auto temperature
hold. To indicate that the auto temperature
hold is activated, the red light ring will start
constant glowing.
Auto Temperature Hold
If the kettle has insufficient water when
starting a heating cycle, the kettle will
automatically switch off to protect from
overheating and causing damage. The
kettle will beep and the temperature
display will read “No Water” to signify that
the kettle has boiled dry. Unplug the kettle
and allow to cool for at least 10 minutes
before refilling.
Boil Dry Protection
Baristan comes with a built-in brew
stopwatch to time your brew for a perfect
cup of pour-over coffee.
1. To start the stopwatch, quick press on
stopwatch button.
2. The OLED screen will start a 5 seconds
countdown, letting you get ready to
pour. After 5 seconds countdown, the
brew stopwatch will start counting up
by seconds.
3. To turn the stopwatch off and return to
the main screen, quick press stopwatch
button again and wait for 3 seconds.

1. Fill the kettle with the desired amount of
water. Set the kettle on the kettle base.
2. Plug in the kettle base.
3. Press the Power ON/OFF button once
and release.
4. As soon as you press the power button
kettle will automatically start heating.
5. Select your desired temperature using
+ and - temperature set buttons.
The OLED screen will display temperature
options as you press + or - buttons.
6. Once you select your desired
temperature, stop pressing the + or -
temperature buttons. Once boiling icon
and LED red light ring start breathing
effect, indicating that kettle is heating
to your desired temperature.
No need to
press Power ON/OFF button again.
7. When the water has reached the
desired temperature, the kettle will beep
and automatically switch on the auto
temperature hold function. The kettle will
maintain the desired temperature for
60 minutes.
Note: ONLY fill the kettle body with water.
DO NOT heat or boil other liquids.

seconds. To indicate the kettle is muted,
icon will read on the temperature
display.

NOTE: At higher elevations, water will boil at a lower temperature. At sea level, water
boils at 100°C (212°F). For every 500 feet/152 meters in elevation gain, the boiling point
decreases by approx. 0.5°C (0.9°F). Please use the following chart to adjust your
temperature accordingly.
CAUTION: Choosing a SET temperature higher than your local boiling point can result
in longer boiling times, and unnecessary power consumption for your Baristan to
maintain the target temperature.

Cleaning & Care
Warning: NEVER immerse the kettle or
kettle base in water.
Warning: Do not use chemicals or
abrasive cleaners internally or externally.
1. Unplug your kettle and allow it to cool
before cleaning.
2. Wipe the kettle and power base with a
soft damp cloth.
3. Be sure that electric socket is kept dry.
4. Dry all parts after every use.
The kettle will not work properly if it is not
descaled regularly. Regular descaling can
increase the life of the kettle, allowing it to
boil water faster and with less energy.
Scale is a naturally occurring buildup of
mineral deposits caused by impurities
in water, especially hard water. For best
performance, descale the kettle every
4-8 weeks or whenever scale buildup is
present inside.
Descaling can be completed with a
descaling solutions specifically designed
for kettles. Follow the directions on the
descaling solution package
OR
1. Fill the kettle with equal parts water
and white vinegar.
2. Let sit for 30 minutes.
3. Discard solution and rinse kettle
thoroughly with clean water.
4. Repeat this process until all deposits
are removed.

Troubleshooting Guide
• Make sure the power cord is securely plugged into the socket.
• Insert the power cord into a different socket
• Reset the circuit breaker if necessary.
The kettle base won’t turn on.
• The overheat control may have tripped. Let the kettle cool down.
• Ensure the kettle is fully seated on the power base.
• Clean the rings on base and under the kettle. You can use a tooth pick
and poke it around the rings. Be sure that the kettle is unplugged.
The kettle is not heating up.
• The kettle may contain too much scale. Refer to the descaling instructions
on page 10 to descale the kettle.
The kettle turns off before
reaching the target temperature.
No Water sign is not an error. It is a safety feature designed to protect you.
When does it occur?
• When there is no water or water amount is below the minimum level.
• If you made the bottom ring part gets in contact with water by mistake.
How to fix this warning?
Resetting the display will fix to issue.
This process is easy. Resetting the kettle will help to continue functioning at its best.
Temperature Display Messages: No Water
1. Turn off the Kettle
Press and hold the power button for about 5 seconds until you hear a beep sound.
2. Unplug the Kettle
After turning off the kettle, unplug it from the power outlet and let it cool down for
10-15 minutes.
3. Plug the Kettle Back
After letting the kettle cool down for 10-15 minutes, plug the kettle back into the power
outlet. Now the device is reset and ready to use.
4. Refill the Kettle
Refill the kettle with cold water. Ensure to not fill above the maximum level.
5. Turn the Kettle On
Turn the kettle on by pressing the power button and start brewing. Enjoy!

to the original and quality, under normal use and
conditions, for a period of one year from the date
of original purchase.
Saki Kitchen agrees, at our option during the
warranty period, to repair any defect in material
or workmanship or furnish an equal product in
exchange without charge, subject to verification
of the defect or malfunction and proof of the date
of purchase.
There is no other express warranty. This warranty
does not apply:
• If the product has been modified from its original
condition;
• If the product has not been used in accordance
with directions and instructions in the user
manual;
• To damages or defects caused by accident,
abuse, misuse or improper or inadequate
maintenance;
• To damages or defects caused by service
or repair of the product performed by an
unauthorized service provider or by anyone other
than SAKI;
• To damages or defects occurring during
commercial use, rental use, or any use for which
the product is not intended;
• To damages or defects exceeding the cost of the

Saki Kitchen will not be liable for indirect,
incidental, or consequential damages in
connection with the use of the product covered by
this warranty.
This warranty extends only to the original
consumer purchaser of the product and is not
transferable to any subsequent owner of the
product regardless of whether the product is
transferred during the specified term of the
warranty.
This warranty does not extend to products
purchased from unauthorized sellers. Saki
Kitchen’s warranty extends only to products
purchased from authorized sellers that are
subject to Saki Kitchen’s quality controls and have
agreed to follow its quality controls.
All implied warranties are limited to the period of
this limited warranty.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights,
and you may also have other rights which
vary from state to state. Some states do not
allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or
consequential damages, so the above limitation
or exclusion may not apply to you.

within the specified warranty period, please
