Do not operate the kettle on an inclined plane. Do not operate the kettle unless
the element is fully immersed. Do not move while the kettle is switched on.
To prevent damage to the appliance do not use alkaline cleaning agents
when cleaning. Instead use a soft cloth and a mild detergent.
The heating element will retain residual heat after use. Do not touch.

ELECTRICAL REQUIREMENTS
INSTALLATION GUIDE
POWER SUPPLY CORD
1. Do not attempt to modify the power cord or plug in any way.
2. A short power supply cord is provided to reduce the risk of becoming entangled
or tripping over a longer cord.
3. If the power supply cord is too short, do not use an extension cord. Have a
ceman install an outlet near the appliance.
NOTE: Neither Westinghouse nor the retailer can accept any liability for damage
to the product or personal injury resulting due to failure to observe the electrical
connection procedures and the instructions within this manual.

2. Carefully remove packaging around the kettle and power cord. Do not remove
warning labels.

NOTE: Westinghouse recommends the use of a residual current device (RCD) with
a tripping current not exceeding 30mA in the electrical circuit supplying power to all
appliances.

Turn the kettle jug so that the spout points away from you and any mains supply.

Push lid closed and place the kettle jug onto the kettle base.
Turn the kettle on by pressing the Start/Cancel button. This will activate the screen.
Once your desired temperature is set, press the Start/Cancel button to begin
operation.

Adjust the temperature by twisting the control knob. (twist left to decrease and
right to increase)

When your desired temperature has been reached, the unit will beep to alert you
that it is complete. Enjoy!

To turn the kettle off, hold down the Start/Cancel button for 3 seconds.
Hold Function: The hold function (keep warm) can be set by pressing the Hold button
after selecting your desired temperature. Follow the normal operation procedure and
the kettle will maintain the selected temperature for 2 hours. To cancel the Hold
function early, press the Hold button once more. (The indicator light around the button
will become illuminated when the Hold function is activated)
Mute Function: To mute the kettle, hold down the F°/C° button for 3 seconds and
the mute icon will appear. To unmute the kettle, hold down the F°/C° button for 3
seconds and the mute icon will disappear.

Temperature Units: To change between Celsius and Fahrenheit, press the F°/C° button.

Brew Stopwatch: This kettle features a Brew Stopwatch to help keep track of your brew
time. To start, press and hold the Hold button for 3 seconds, then the stopwatch will
begin after a 3 second countdown. To turn off the stopwatch, press and hold the Hold
button for 3 seconds again.

Memory Function: This kettle features an internal memory function which allows for up
to 5 minutes with the kettle jug removed from the base before the kettle resets. If
returned to the base within 5 minutes, it will automatically return to the heating and/or
hold cycle that it left from.
Sleep Mode: When left idle for 10 minutes, this kettle will revert to “Sleep Mode”.
During “Sleep Mode”, the heating and display will be off, but your last selections will
remain in the unit’s memory.

Note: The guide below is general in nature and based on popular suggestions. If your
tea, coffee or other hot drink comes with brewing instructions, we recommend you
follow their instructions.

CLEANING & CARE
This kettle needs to be descaled every month. In areas which have hard water, it
may be necessary to descale the kettle more frequently.

Failure to descale your kettle is considered a breach
of the maintenance requirements for this product.
Any faults caused from mineral build up will not be
covered under the warranty of this appliance.

This does not apply to products which have been misused/abused, poorly
maintained or serviced, damaged due to negligent handling, accidentally damaged
or normal wear and tear. Ensure to follow all instructions within this instruction
manual, including the Cleaning & Care section for correct maintenance. (See page 8)

If your warranty claim is accepted, the product may be replaced with a similar or
refurbished unit or repaired using refurbished parts. If your warranty claim is not
accepted, the seller will inform you and provide any further options which are
available in your situation. If the product is to be repaired or shipped as a result of
this, you will be responsible for the cost of repair and/or any freight charges incurred.
Damage caused by incorrect or improper operation and/or installation.
Damage caused by a failure to follow additional instructions.

For the purpose of this Warranty:
a.) Australian Consumer Law means the law as set out in Schedule 2 of the
Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth).
b.) Consumer means the Purchaser of goods from the seller.
c.) Consumer means a Consumer as that term is set out in section 3 of the
Australian Consumer Law.
d.) Consumer Guarantees means the guarantees under the Australian
Consumer Law. e.) Implied terms means any guarantees, conditions,
warranties or other terms implied by any Australian Commonwealth, State
or Territory laws, (excluding the Australian Consumer Law) or the law of
any other jurisdiction.
f.) Owner has the meaning set out in clause 3.
g.) Warranty means this warranty.
h.) Product means the Product/s bought by the Owner from the Seller that
fall under this warranty.
