Read these instructions thoroughly and save for future reference. Carefully unpack the appliance
from its packaging and check that all parts are present. Remove any promotional labels or stickers
and safely dispose of plastic bags or small pieces that could present a suocation or choking
hazard.
1. Wipe outside of the kettle with a clean, damp cloth to remove any dirt or dust. Do not immerse
the kettle body, power base, control panel, power cord, or electrical plug in any liquid. Do not use
abrasive cleansers or scouring pads.
2. Before rst use, ll the kettle to between the MIN and MAX lines and boil according to the
operating instructions on the following pages. Carefully discard the water and repeat the process
once more.
NOTE: Always unplug the kettle before emptying, lling, or adding water and never ll a
cordless kettle on its base.
1. To ll the kettle, remove it from its power base and press the lid release button to open. Fill with
your desired amount of water, making sure that the water level sits above the MIN ll line (0.5L)
and below the MAX ll line (1.7L). You can also ll the kettle through its spout.
NOTE: Do not ll the kettle past the MAX ll line. Over-lling may result in boiling water
being expelled from the spout, causing injury or property damage.
2. Close the lid, pressing down rmly to ensure that it has latched. Replace the kettle on its power
base, rotating it so the spout is facing away from you.
3. Plug the kettle into a power outlet. The kettle will beep once and the control panel will turn on
with all buttons illuminated and the current water temperature displayed. The temperature is
displayed in °F as factory default. To switch to °C, press the + and - buttons at the same time for 4
seconds until ‘C appears.
4. Choose your desired temperature from the four pre-sets or set temperature manually from
40-100°C (104-212°F) using the + and - buttons. The display will show your selected temperature
for 2-3 seconds and then show the real-time water temperature while the kettle is heating.
5. If the kettle is left inactive for 60 seconds at any time, it will automatically enter standby mode.
The control panel will go dark except for the power button, which will pulse slowly. Exit standby
mode by either touching the power button or lifting and replacing the kettle on the base.
NOTE: Do not touch the glass body, spout, and lid while the kettle is operating and before
the water cools down. Keep all parts of your body away from the spout when the kettle is
operating as the escaping steam could cause injury.
6. When the water reaches the selected temperature, the kettle will beep twice and stop heating.
The kettle will display the nal water temperature for 20-30 seconds and then enter standby
mode. Wait for the water to stop bubbling before carefully lifting the kettle by the handle and
pouring the water.
NOTE: Be very careful when pouring water from the kettle as both the hot water and steam
can scald you. To avoid injury, do not pour with the lid open.
7. Touch the power button at any time to stop the kettle from heating and return it to default
settings
