1. SAFETY
WARNING! Ensure Health & Safety, local authority, and general workshop practice regulations are adhered to when using this equipment.
WARNING! Always wear approved eye or face protection when operating the torch.
WARNING! Butane gas is extremely flammable, handle with care.
WARNING! Always point the torch away from the eyes and body when igniting and during operation.
WARNING! Ensure the Gas Controller Knob is firmly closed and the flame completely extinguished after use.
WARNING! DO NOT puncture the cartridge or dispose of in a fire.
8 DO NOT use the torch in an area where paint fumes, solvents or other flammable solids, liquids or gases pose a potential hazard.
9 Keep flammable material away from the torch when operating.
9 Flammable waste, such as wiping or cleaning rags, must be placed in a closed metal container and disposed of correctly.
8 DO NOT operate the torch when you are tired or under the influence of alcohol, drugs or intoxicating medication.
8 DO NOT hold the workpiece by hand. Use clamps or a vice (not included) to secure the workpiece.
8 DO NOT operate the torch if any parts are damaged or missing as this may cause failure and/or possible personal injury.
8 DO NOT touch the workpiece close to the heated area as it will be very hot. Allow to cool.
8 DO NOT touch the burner tube during or immediately after use as it will be very hot. Allow to cool.
8 DO NOT leave the torch operating unattended.
8 DO NOT use this torch continuously for longer than one hour.
8 DO NOT allow children to operate the torch.
9 Disconnect the gas cartridge when not in use.
9 Store cartridge away from direct sunlight in a safe, dry, childproof area, where the temperature will not exceed 40°C (104°F).
9 After use, allow the torch to cool before storing it.

2. INTRODUCTION
Supplied with three interchangeable heads: Pin-point flame, Soft flame and Swirling flame, suitable for a range of soldering and brazing jobs. Fitted
with heavy duty piezoelectric ignition, safety lock and continuous flame switch. Precision heat control with fine gas pressure adjustment. Suitable for
CGA600 propane gas fuel types. Flame temperature: 1800ºC to 2200ºC. Cost effective alternative to oxy/acetylene torches.

4. OPERATIONP
4.1. ASSEMBLY
4.1.1. Choosefromoneofthethreenozzlesprovidedandttomainbody,ensuringthatthenozzlelocksintothemainbodysecurely(g.2).
4.1.2. Ensure that the control knob is turned off (fully clockwise) before assembling (fig.3).
4.1.3. Keep the gas cartridge upright when fitting to the torch.
4.1.4. Position the torch valve over the cartridge valve and carefully screw the cartridge into the torch until it meets the rubber seal of the torch
valve - take care to avoid cross-threading (fig.4).
WARNING! DO NOT overtighten as this can damage the cartridge valve.
4.2. OPERATION
4.2.1. Shake gas cylinder for a few moments.
4.2.2. To operate the torch push slide switch down to unlock the trigger (fig.5).
4.2.3. Turn knob (fig.3) to allow gas to be primed.
4.2.4. Depress the trigger in order to operate ignition and allow gas to flow.
4.2.5. Adjust the flame by turning the control knob (fig.3) either clockwise (-) or anti-clockwise (+).
NOTE: The recommended inner flame length is 10-20mm.
4.2.6. To extinguish the torch, turn the control knob fully clockwise.
4.2.7. Once the torch has cooled, unscrew the cartridge for storage.
NOTE: In cold conditions it is advisable to pre-warm the cartridge to room temperature before operation.
HEAT GENTLY - DO NOT heat to temperatures above 40°C (104°F).
5. TROUBLESHOOTING
5.1. If the torch is moved rapidly, tilted too far to the side or upside down, the flame may flare or extinguish. To prevent this, adjust the inner
flame to 6.5mm and let the torch warm up for 3 minutes prior to such movement. Slowly lengthen flame as necessary, once the torch is in
the desired position.

ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION
Recycle unwanted materials instead of disposing of them as waste. All tools, accessories and packaging should be sorted,
taken to a recycling centre and disposed of in a manner which is compatible with the environment. When the product
becomes completely unserviceable and requires disposal, drain any fluids (if applicable) into approved containers and
