1. SAFETY
WARNING! Ensure Health & Safety, local authority and general workshop practice regulations are adhered to when using this
equipment.
WARNING! Always wear approved eye or face protection when operating the torch.
WARNING! Butane gas is extremely ammable. Handle with care.
WARNING! Always point the torch away from the eyes and body when igniting and during operation.
WARNING! Ensure the gas controller knob is rmly closed and the ame completely extinguished after use.
WARNING! DO NOT puncture the cartridge or dispose of in a re.
8 DO NOT operate the torch when you are tired or under the inuence of alcohol, drugs or intoxicating medication.
8 DO NOT hold the work piece by hand. Use clamps or a vice (not included) to secure the workpiece.
8 DO NOT operate the torch if any parts are damaged or missing as this may cause failure and/or possible personal injury.
8 DO NOT touch the workpiece close to the heated area as it will be very hot. Allow to cool.
8 DO NOT touch the burner tube during or immediately after use as it will be very hot. Allow to cool.
8 DO NOT leave the torch operating unattended.
8 DO NOT use this torch continuously for longer than one hour.
8 DO NOT allow children to operate the torch.
9 Disconnect the gas cartridge when not in use. Store cartridge away from direct sunlight in a safe, dry, childproof area, where the
temperature will not exceed 40
o
C (104
o
F).
9 After use, allow the torch to cool before storing it.
IMPORTANT! Observe cautions on the gas cartridge label.
2. INTRODUCTION
Compact, high capacity burner head with push-button piezoelectric ignition. 1750°C Adjustable burner ame size gives wide application
possibilities. Ideal for occasional plumbing tasks where space may be limited. Accepts standard Butane self-sealing cartridges (not included).

3. ASSEMBLY
3.1. Ensure that the control knob is turned o (fully clockwise) before assembling.
3.2. Keep the gas cartridge upright when tting to the torch.
3.3. Position the torch valve over the cartridge valve and carefully screw the cartridge into the torch until it meets the O-ring of the torch
valve - take care to avoid cross-threading.
WARNING! DO NOT overtighten as this can damage the cartridge valve.
4. OPERATION
4.1. Shake gas cylinder for a few moments.
4.2. Turn the control knob anti-clockwise for 1/2 turn. The gas should now be “hissing” from the burner tube.
4.3. Being sure to point the torch away from yourself and others, press the ignition button.
4.4. Adjust the ame by turning the control knob either clockwise (-) or anti-clockwise (+).
NOTE: The recommended ame length is 10-20mm.
4.5. To extinguish the torch, turn the control knob fully clockwise.
4.6. Once the torch has cooled, unscrew the cartridge for storage.
NOTE: In cold conditions, it is advisable to pre-warm the cartridge to room temperature before operation.
WARNING! Heat the cartridge gently. DO NOT use a heat source attaining temperatures above 40
o
C (104
o
F).
