Thank you for purchasing a Sealey product. Manufactured to a high standard, this product will, if used according to these instructions,
and properly maintained, give you years of trouble free performance.
1. SAFETY
9 The device shall not be used if it fails to operate correctly in accordance with the instructions and to seek advice from the manufacturer,
responsible vendor or an electrician.
WARNING! The charging cable is only suitable for electric and hybrid cars with a type 2 plug.
9 This charging cable can be used for electric and hybrid cars, hereafter referred to as ‘cars’. It can be used from a charging
infrastructure intended for this purpose, or a 230V socket. Any other use is not permitted and is therefore regarded as improper use.
9 Before using the mobile charging station, you must read the operating instructions and the documentation for the car.
9 When the mobile charging station is being used, observe the instructions as described. Failure to do this can lead to personal injury or
damage to property, such as, for example, electric shock, short circuit or re.
9 If in doubt, get a qualied electrician to check that the charging infrastructure or 230V socket is suitable.
WARNING! Any other use may cause damage to the device and expose the user to a risk of serious injury. The manufacturer is not
liable for any injury or damage resulting from improper use.
9 The device has been developed for consumer use and is not suitable for use in a commercial or industrial environment.
9 The product must only be used by people who have been trained to do so.
1.1. PERSONAL SAFETY
9 Keep children and animals away from the mobile charging station. DO NOT allow children to play with the device. Cleaning and day-
to-day maintenance must not be performed by children without supervision. Children must be supervised to ensure that they DO NOT
play with the device.
9 Within the working area, the user is responsible for any damage or injury to third parties caused by the use of the device.
9 During operation, never point the device at yourself or other individuals.
9 Keep the device in a dry location and out of the reach of children.
1.2. WORKING WITH THE DEVICE
8 DO NOT use the device while driving the vehicle.
9 Before setup or rst use, check the device for any damage and DO NOT use unless in perfect working order.
8 DO NOT submerge the device in water. There is a risk of electric shock.
9 Keep the vent on the underside of the device clear during operation. DO NOT block the vent with your hands or ngers.
8 DO NOT cover the device or block any of the openings. Keep the opening clear and clean at all times to reduce risk of overheating.
9 Ensure that sand, dust and other small foreign objects cannot enter the air inlet or air outlet openings.
8 DO NOT leave the device in the car during hot weather. This could permanently damage the device.
9 The device becomes warm during use. There is a risk of burn injuries from touching the hot surfaces.
8 DO NOT operate the device near to ammable liquids or gases. DO NOT use the device in areas with a risk of explosion, e.g. near
ammable liquids, gases or powders.
9 Switch the device o󰀨 and remove the mains plug from the socket in the following cases: when you are not using the device; if you are
doing cleaning work; if the connection cable is damaged; if foreign objects have got into the device or you notice unusual noises.
9 Only use the accessories supplied and recommended by the manufacturer.
8 DO NOT dismantle or modify the mobile charging station. This device must only be repaired by a maintenance technician.
8 DO NOT expose the device to any source of heat.
8 DO NOT store in places where the temperature can exceed 45

C.
8 DO NOT connect the charging cable to a faulty/unsuitable socket, which, for example, is not designed for the continuous use required.
9 Protect the plug connections and plug devices from moisture and liquids.
8 DO NOT step on or drive over plugs, charging cable and connecting cables.
8 DO NOT jam or kink charging and connection cables.
8 DO NOT touch plugs with wet hands.
9 When the device is not being used, always put the cover caps on the plugs.
9 Always put the cover cap on, in accordance with the instructions.
1.3. ELECTRICAL SAFETY
8 DO NOT carry the device by the cable. DO NOT unplug the plug from the socket by pulling on the cable. Protect the cable from heat,
oil and sharp edges.
9 If the cable is damaged, unplug the plug immediately from the socket. A damaged charging cable can lead to death or serious injuries.
9 Before each use, check the charging cable for damage (e.g. cracks). DO NOT use damaged charging cables.

8 DO NOT short circuit the contacts on the T2 plug.
8 DO NOT put ngers or sharp objects into the plug contacts.
8 DO NOT hold the plug under water or submerge it in water.
9 It is recommended for the electrical installation intended for EV charging to be checked by an electrical installer.
9 The IC-CPD shall be plugged in directly into the xed socket-outlet without the use of an extension cord.
9 The components of a pluggable IC-CPD shall not be connected or disconnected while the IC-CPD is in use.
9 The product shall not be plugged in with an adaptor, less it meets to requirements of the IC-CPD.
9 The components of a pluggable IC-CPD are allowed to be used in combination.
1.4. SPECIFIC SAFETY (REFER ALSO TO CHART BELOW)
Before operation, the device carries out an automatic self test and checks internal components, possible residual currents, over or
under voltage and temperature. A charging process is then only possible if all test criteria have been met.
8 DO NOT use adapter plugs or extension cables. The device must be plugged directly into the xed socket.
9 The electrical system and the socket, which are provided for charging electric cars, must be checked by an electrician before use.
9 Only use the device in an ambient temperature between -25
o
C and +45
o
C.
9 Only use mobile charging stations up to height of 4,000m above sea level.
9 A slightly higher temperature during charging is normal and not a malfunction.
9 Protect the mobile charging station from moisture and high temperatures, including res.
9 Store the mobile charging station in a dry place and protect the device from moisture and corrosion.
8 DO NOT drop the mobile charging station while it is being used.
9 The mobile charging station is designed for electric cars with type 2 plug (in accordance with EN 62196-2).
9 When using the mobile charging station make sure that the connector plugs and are securely in place.
9 There is a hole for hanging the charger on the wall. It’s highly recommended that the user hangs the charger on the wall for normal
usage. If not, please make sure the height of the wall socket from the ground is no longer than the length of the input wire to avoid
strain on plug and socket.
1.5. ELECTROMAGNETIC COMPATIBILITY
9 The Mobile Charging Station meets the requirements for use in residential areas according to EN 61000-6-3:2020.

2. INTRODUCTION
Portable Type-2 charger is fitted with a 3-pin plug so it can be used with any standard 13A socket. Delay timing function enables users to program
delayed start time to benefit from off peak electricity tariffs. The intuitive LCD screen offers users fault codes, charging time, power and temperature

6. MAINTENANCE
6.1. CLEANING
WARNING! The device must not be submerged in water. There is a risk of injury due to electric shock if moisture enters the device.
8 DO NOT use cleaners or solvents. These could damage the device beyond repair.
9 Keep the housing and device accessories clean.
9 Use a damp cloth or a soft brush to clean the device and the accessories.
6.2. STORAGE
9 Keep the device in a dry location and out of the reach of children.
9 To avoid damage, take care to ensure that the charging cable does not become kinked.
