Safety In The Work Area
Keep the work area clean and well lit. Dark and cluttered work areas increase the risk of accidents and injuries.
Do not use power tools in explosive environments, such as in the vicinity of flammable liquids, gases or dust. Power tools produce sparks that
can ignite dust and fumes.
Keep children and onlookers at a safe distance when working with a power tool. You can lose control of the tool if you are distracted.
Electrical Safety
The mains plug on the power tool must match the mains socket. Never modify the plug in any way. Never use adapters with earthed power tools.
Intact plugs and matching outlets reduce the risk of electric shock.
Avoid body contact with earthed surfaces such as pipes, radiators, cookers, and refrigerators. There is an increased risk of electric shock if your
body is earthed.
Do not expose power tools to rain or moisture. There is a greater risk of electric shock if water gets into a power tool.
Be careful with the power cord. Never use the power cord to carry or pull the power tool, or to pull out the plug from the mains. Keep the power
cord away from heat, oil, sharp edges and moving parts. Damaged or tangled power cords increase the risk of electric shock.
When you use a power tool outdoors, use an extension cord intended for outdoor use. Using cords intended for outdoor use reduces the risk of
electric shock.
If you have to use a power tool in damp conditions, use a mains connection protected by a residual current device RCD. Using an RCD reduces
the risk of electric shock.
Do not short-circuit the battery.
Do not leave the battery in the charger after it is fully charged.
Personal Safety
Stay alert, pay attention to what you are doing, and use your common sense when working with power tools. Never use power tools if you are
tired or under the influence of drugs, alcohol, or medication. A moment of inattention when using a power tool can result in serious personal
injury.
Use safety equipment. Always wear safety glasses. The correct use of safety equipment such as a dust filter mask, non-slip safety shoes,
helmets, and ear protection, reduces the risk of personal injury.
Avoid accidental starting. Check that the power switch is in the OFF position before connecting to the mains and/or the battery or lifting/carrying
the tool. Carrying a power tool with your finger on the switch or connecting a tool to the mains supply when the switch is in the ON position,
increases the risk of accidents and injuries.
Remove all Allen keys/spanners etc. before switching on the power tool. A spanner left in a rotating part of the power tool can result in personal
injury.
Do not overreach. Always maintain a firm footing and good balance. This will ensure you have better control over the tool in unexpected
situations.
Wear suitable clothing. Do not wear loose-fitting clothing or jewellery. Keep your hair, clothing, and gloves away from moving parts. Loose-fitting
clothing, jewellery and long hair can get caught in moving parts.

Do not force the power tool. Use the correct power tool for the planned work. The correct power tool will work better and more safely when used
with the load for which it was designed.
Do not use the power tool if it cannot be switched on and off with the power switch. Power tools that cannot be controlled with the power switch
are dangerous and must be repaired.
Unplug the plug from the mains and/or remove the battery from the power tool before making any adjustments, replacing accessories, or putting
the tool away. These safety precautions reduce the risk of accidentally starting the power tool.
Store power tools out of the reach of children when not in use. Never allow anyone who is unfamiliar with the power tool and these instructions to
use the tool. Power tools are dangerous in the hands of inexperienced users.
Keep the power tool properly maintained. Check that moving parts are not misaligned, jammed or loose, and that there are no other factors that
could affect the safe use of the tool. If the power tool is damaged, it must be repaired before being used again. Many accidents are caused by
poorly maintained power tools.
Make sure that cutting tools are sharp and clean. Properly maintained cutting tools with sharp cutting edges are less likely to jam and are easier
to control.
Use the power tool, accessories, and bits etc., in accordance with these instructions, taking into account the actual working conditions and the
work that is to be done. Using the power tool for anything other than its intended purpose can lead to dangerous situations.
Using And Maintaining Battery-Powered Tools
Charge the batteries only with the charger recommended by the manufacturer. The use of another charger can result in the risk of personal injury
and fire.
Only use batteries intended for the power tool. The use of other batteries can result in the risk of personal injury and fire.
Do not allow batteries to come into contact with paper clips, coins, keys, nails, screws, and other small metal objects that can result in short
circuiting. Short circuiting the battery terminals can result in the risk of burn injuries or fire.
Incorrect use can cause liquid to leak from the battery. Avoid touching this. Rinse with water after unintentional contact. Seek medical attention if
you get battery fluid in your eyes. Leaking battery fluid can cause skin irritation or burn injuries.
Service
Make sure that the power tool is serviced by qualified technicians that only use identical spare parts. This will ensure that the power tool remains
safe to use.
Additional Safety Instructions
Hold the power tool by the insulated grips when working in areas where the tool may come into contact with concealed electrical cables or its own
power cord. Contact with a live cable will cause the metal parts on the tool to also become live – risk of electric shock.
Before starting work on walls, ceilings, or floors, check that there are no concealed electrical cables or conduits. Use a live wire detector or ask
an electrician for help. Failure to observe these instructions could result in the risk of fire, explosion, electric shock, personal injury and/or material
damage.
Avoid accidental starting. Switch off the tool if the power supply is disconnected, e.g., as a result of a power cut or if the power cord is pulled out.
Secure the workpiece. Secure the workpiece with clamps or a vice. Never hold the workpiece with your hand.
Keep the work area clean. The mixing of dust from different materials is especially dangerous. Dust from light metals, e.g., aluminium, can ignite
or explode.
Do not use the tool if the power cord is damaged. Pull out the plug immediately if the cord is damaged when working. Do not pull the power cord
to disconnect the plug from the mains socket. Damaged power cords increase the risk of electric shock.
Avoid overheating the tool and workpiece – risk of material damage.
Do not touch accessories during or immediately after use – risk of burn injury.
Never clean hot tools with flammable agents – risk of fire and/or explosion.
Keep the handles clean, dry, and free from oil and grease. Greasy handles make it difficult to hold the tool – risk of personal injury and/material
damage.

Operation
Function and Technique: The spray gun sprays at low pressure. The jet is formed at low pressure and with a
large volume of air. The nozzle produces a very fine dispersion and minimum mist. The surface treatment
product is applied quickly and precisely on the object. The air flow also shortens the drying time for the surface
treatment product. This produces optimum results with a smaller amount of the surface treatment product, which
reduces the environmental impact.
Intended Use: The spray gun is only intended for spraying non-combustible paint and enamel that are not
harmful to health.
Non-Intended Use: The spray gun must not be used to spray flammable liquids. Do not use for food, medicine,
or other purposes than those specified in the instructions.
Preparation
Do not use textured paints for walls or coverings. This will block the nozzle. For optimum results it is important to
prepare the surface before using the spray gun. The paint should also be thinned to the right viscosity. Make
sure the surface to be painted is free from dust, dirt, and grease. Cover surfaces not to be treated with high
quality masking tape. The paint or fluid to be sprayed must be thoroughly mixed and must not contain lumps or
other particles. The spray gun can be used for many different products. Always read the recommendations of the
manufacturer when choosing the paint.
Thinning
Most paint is supplied ready for application by coating and therefore needs to be thinned before it can be
sprayed. Follow the instructions of the manufacturer for thinning the paint before spraying. The viscosity beaker
can be used to find the right viscosity for the paint. Fill the beaker with paint up to the edge. Time how long it
takes to empty the beaker in the paint can. The table below indicates recommended times for different paints.

Wood preservatives and varnishes do not need thinning.
If emptying the beaker takes longer than the recommended time, the product needs to be thinned even more.
Mix in a small amount of a suitable thinner and carry out the viscosity test until the right viscosity is achieved.
Some products can contain particles and lumps. Such products must be strained before pouring them into the
paint container.

Battery
Connect the battery. ONLY BATTERIES AND CHARGERS SUPPLIED BY THE MANUFACTURER MUST BE
USED WITH THIS PRODUCT.
Charging the Battery
Make sure to do the charging in a suitable place and to use the right charger. Never connect an unknown
charger or charging cable or battery that you suspect may be damaged. Otherwise, there is a risk of
overheating, and, at worst, a fire can break out. Do not leave the battery unattended when charging.
Starting and Stopping
1. Press the switch to start the spray gun. The more the switch is pressed, the faster the speed.
2. Stop the spray gun by releasing the switch.
Spraying
Fill the paint container with the correctly thinned and strained paint. Point the spray gun at a test piece and press
the switch until paint comes out.
Spraying Techniques
The smoothness and cleanness of the surface have a big effect on the result. Carefully prepare the surface and
keep it free from dust.
Cover areas that are not to be sprayed with masking tape or newspaper. Cover any thread on the object. It is
recommended to test spray a piece of cardboard to find the correct setting for the spray gun before spraying the
surface.
It is important to hold the spray gun at the same distance (about 515 cm) from the object.
IMPORTANT: Begin at the outside of the surface to be sprayed and avoid any interruptions.
1. Move the spray gun smoothly over the surface to achieve a uniform surface finish.
2. Clean the nozzle and air cap with a suitable solvent, or water, if they get clogged.
3. Move the spray gun smoothly over the surface. Moving too quickly produces a thin layer of paint and moving
too slowly produces a thick layer of paint.
4. Only apply one layer at once. Follow the recommendations of the paint manufacturer for drying times and
the number of coats.
5. Set the adjuster knob to low when spraying small surfaces. This avoids overconsumption of paint and thick
layers.
6. If possible, avoid stopping and starting the spray gun when spraying. This can result in the application of too
much, or too little paint. Do not tilt the spray gun more than 45°.

1. Charge battery before first use. The battery may arrive with some charge, regardless of this the
battery must be charged for 1 hour on the initial charge and 1 hour for each subsequent charge.
2. Charge battery immediately when it is depleted. Do not store a depleted battery. This will
permanently impact the life of the battery. If the battery is going to be stored for a period of time, fully
charge the battery before storing.
3. Disconnect battery when not in use. To prolong the life of a battery, disconnect it from the unit
when not in use. Disconnect chargers from the battery once charged.
To ensure the battery maintains optimum performance, follow the guidelines outlined below.
For best results, charge batteries in temperatures between 10°C and 30°C
When battery is charged, disconnect the charger from the power supply and remove the battery from the
charger.
If a battery is stored or otherwise unused for an extended period, and the battery has no charge remaining
when you check it, consider it to be damaged. Do not attempt to recharge it or to use it. Replace it with a
new battery.
Use only with the battery charger specified by the manufacturer.
Ensure that the battery charger electrical cord is not subjected to damage or stress. Do not operate the
battery charger if it has a damaged electrical cord or plug.
Do not use the charger in wet areas or expose it to rain or water.
The typical estimated life of a Lithium-Ion battery is about two to three years or 300 to 500 charge cycles,
whichever occurs first. One charge cycle is a period of use from fully charged, to fully discharged, and fully
recharged again
Explosion hazard protect the battery against heat, for example, direct sunlight and fire. Do not store
batteries in vehicles or locations subject to heat.
Batteries can explode in the presence of an ignition source, such as a pilot light. To reduce the risk of
serious personal injury, never use any cordless product in the presence of open flame. Exploding batteries
can propel debris and chemicals.
Do not open the battery danger of short-circuiting and/or explosion.
Do not attempt to destroy or disassemble the battery pack or remove any of its components.
Do not touch the battery terminals with metal objects and/or body parts as short-circuit and/or personal injury
may result.
Explosion hazard do not open and/or short-circuit the battery.
Poison hazard battery leakage (liquid ejection). Under extreme conditions, liquid may be ejected from the
battery avoid contact. If contact accidentally occurs, immediately seek medical attention, and flush with
water. If liquid contacts eyes, immediately seek medical attention, flush with clean water for at least 10
minutes. Liquid ejected from the battery may cause irritation or burns.
Dispose of non-serviceable batteries in an environmentally responsible manner and according to local
regulations.
Failure to adhere to the requirements above may result in the battery becoming inoperative or battery life being
reduced. In extreme cases or abuse, battery overheating or fire may result.
