Deck Belt Routing & Replacement
For replacement belt part number refer to Replacement Parts Quick Reference Chart in this manual.
Idler Adjustment
Belt Routing
Removal
Apply parking brake.
Turn off machine and disconnect spark plug wires.
Release the tensioning idler by loosening the nut on the
i
dler assembly bolt.
Once loose, remove the belt from the deck.
Replacement
Install new belt by placing it around all pulleys. Refer to
routing diagram below.
The belt should be loose at this time.
Return tension to the belt by tightening the idler until
s
pring begins to compress and belt has sufficient
tension..
Reconnect the spark plugs.
