Before using for the first time, clean the lid and body of the skillet carefully.
Connect the thermostat to the base of the skillet. Make sure it is connected
properly.
Turn the thermostat switch to “OFF” (fully clockwise position) and plug
into socket (A).
NOTE: If the thermostat is not properly inserted, the skillet will be heated
abnormally and can thus easily damage the skillet or cause accidents. So
inserting the thermostat correctly is very important.
Brush the skillet with a little cooking oil.
Adjust the temperature-graduated disc
according to your cooking needs.
After pressing ON, wait for 5-10 minutes before starting to use the
skillet.
After cooking, turn the disc to “MIN” to maintain the temperature.
This skillet has thermostat control. When it is first powered on, the
indicator light is red. Once your selected temperature is reached, the
light will shut off. If the temperature drops below a certain level, the
light will turn back on to let you know the skillet is reheating; the skillet
will continue to cycle on and off until powered down or unplugged.
You might hear a beep as well.
To avoid burns, do not touch any part of the skillet while in use.
The lid is needed when cooking meatballs, pizza, steak, hamburgers
or frying food.
CAUTION: When removing the lid, be careful of escaping steam.
When finished, adjust the rotary
switch to the OFF position.
Unplug the skillet.

Remove the thermostat from the heating plate.
CAUTION: The thermostat will still be hot so the heating plate should
be cool before taking off the thermostat.
After the heating plate has cooled, wipe it with a clean sponge. When
doing this, cover the socket hole to avoid water from penetrating it.
Wipe the washed skillet with a cloth.
NOTE: The heating plate is non-stick. Do not use knives or other sharp
utensils. The thermostat must not be placed on the heating plate. Wipe
the heating plate clean after use. If some residue remains, it will cause
burns or lead to irregular heating.
Operate the skillet according to the following safeguards to avoid burns
or electric shock.

USING your electric skillet

Aluminum cookware is not dishwasher-safe. Some dishwashing
detergents contain chemical products and salts that may damage
aluminum and cause discoloration. Use mild soap or a mixture of
cream of tartar to remove grease.
Allow the skillet to cool before cleaning, since sudden changes in
temperature may result in deformation of the base which will cause
the skillet to stop working properly.
After cleaning, dry the skillet throughly to avoid limescale build-up.
Do not use metal utensils that can damage or scratch the inner
surface.
For any food residue, simply boil water with vinegar for 5 minutes then
wash and rinse as usual.
Store your skillet carefully by avoiding direct contact with metal or
sharp objects.
