heater.
CAUTION: Do not exceed the current

switches o all heang power, but the On/O light will remain on(red) and the leaf
light be o.
2. If the room temperature is 1 °F or 1 °C lower than the preset temperature, it will
turn on all heang elements (full power), the On/O light will be red, and the leaf
light is On(red).
3. If the room temperature is between upper temp and lower temp, it switches on only
one group of heang elements (half power), the On/O light will be red, and the leaf
light is On(green)
For instance:
Preset temperature: 72 °F
If room temperature is 74 °F, no heang (no power)
If room temperature is 71 °F, or 72 °F, or 73 °F, half heang power (green leaf)

TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE
When I power the heater
ON it doesn’t blow any air
at rst
The heater is funconing as it should. The rst 15 seconds
allows the infrared elements to get hot so that once the fan
does begin to blow it will move warm air into the room.
Why doesn’t my heaters
temperature match my
central heang thermostat?
All thermostats vary in their temperature seng. In most
cases the central heang thermostat is not as accurate as
your Heat Storm heaters thermostat. However, you can
calibrate your Heat Storm heaters thermostat to match
your central heang thermostat if you choose. Please see
the “Calibraon” secon of this manual.
The heater keeps blowing
air when the leaf symbol is
not red or green
There is nothing wrong. This is the cool down phase. The
heater will run for several minutes. This increases the
lifespan of the heater.
The heater does not blow
warm air
A -Check if the air inlet is blocked or the air lter is dirty
and needs to be cleaned
B -The ambient temperature is higher than the thermostat
seng.
C - Unplug the unit from the wall outlet for 2 hours. Aer
2 hours plug the unit back into wall outlet, and operate as
normal.

Blower Fan keep running aer
I have turned o the rocker
switch?
ANSWER: The Blower Fan will connue to run unl the
heat chamber has cooled down. Aer a few minutes
the fan will shut o automacally. This ensures that
the quartz infrared heang elements are cooled
properly helping to ensure the longevity of your
heater.
QUESTION: Can the heang
elements be replaced?
ANSWER: Yes. Contact an authorized repair center.
Generally, this is the store where you purchased your
heater.
QUESTION: My cord is geng
very hot, especially at the plug.
Is that normal?
ANSWER: No. Most likely the problem is that the
connecon from the wall wiring to the outlet is faulty
and is causing the outlet and plug to overheat. Also,
make sure there are not too many appliances plugged
into outlets on a single circuit. If the problems persist
consult a qualied electrician.
QUESTION: The heaters airow
seems to have diminished?
ANSWER: Make sure the air inlet is not blocked and
that the lter is clean. Follow the Filter Maintenance
procedure in the Operaon Instrucons secon.
QUESTION: Once I inially plug
the unit in and turn it on, how
long will it take to heat my
room?
ANSWER: Generally, it takes about a half hour. Please
remember that with any type of heang process there
are many variables; size of the room, how well the
room is insulated, how many doors/windows, how
much bare concrete (which acts as a heat sink with
any type of heang), the opening and closing of an
exterior door, etc… Therefore, heang performance
will vary in every environment.
QUESTION: Can I use the heater
to heat mulple rooms at the
same me?
ANSWER: Yes. Keep in mind the heang will vary
based on how open your oor plan is and the sizes of
the rooms involved. Our suggeson, give it a try and
see what works best for you.

seems to reach the set
temperature, it just keeps
running.
ANSWER: There are several possible causes. Make
