AXIS P85 Series - Troubleshooting

Factory default
The camera unit must be removed from the pipe so the LED indicators are visible, see Removing the camera unit, on page 32.
Performing the factory default procedure will reset all parameters, including the IP address, to the factory default settings.
1. Disconnect the network cable.
2. Press and hold the control button and reconnect the network cable.
3. Keep the control button pressed until the Status LED indicator displays amber (this may take up to 15 seconds).
4. Release the control button. When the status LED indicator displays green (which can take up to one minute) the
process is complete and the camera has been reset.
5. Re-assign the IP address using one of the methods described in this document.
LED indicators
The camera unit must be removed from the pipe in order to see the LED indicators, see Removing the camera unit, on page 32.
LED indicators are used for troubleshooting only.
Unit connectors
Network connector - Female RJ-45 Ethernet connector for 10BaseT/100BaseTX. Power over Ethernet. Using shielded cables is
recommended.
Removing the camera unit
To remove the camera unit from the pipe, loosen the screw and gently pull the camera unit by the handle.
LED Color Indication
Network Green Steady for connection to a 100 Mbit/s network. Flashes for network activity.
Amber Steady for connection to 10 Mbit/s network. Flashes for network activity.
Unlit No network connection.
Status Green Steady green for normal operation.
Amber Steady during startup, during reset to factory default or when restoring settings.
Red Slow flash for failed upgrade.
Power Green Normal operation.
Amber Flashes green/amber during firmware upgrade.
