REPLACE THE BRUSH CUTTER
GUARD WITH THE STRING
TRIMMER GUARD
1. Remove the brush cutter guard
by loosening the two bolts. Then
remove the bolts, washers, and
guard (Fig. 11a). Keep the guard in a
safe place for future use.
2. Lift the string trimmer head and
face it downward. Align the two
mounting holes in the guard with
the two assembly holes in the base
of the shaft. Make sure that the
internal surface of the guard faces
towards the string trimmer head
(Fig. 11b).
3. Install the strimmer guard included
in the EGO kit AH3810 with the two
bolts and washers from the brush
cutter (Fig. 11b).
4. Use the supplied hex key to tighten the bolts.
