Installation
Notes:
• This product supports video resolutions up to 4K (3840 x 2160) @
30 Hz. If your display is unable to transmit video from the dock, refer to
the Troubleshooting section of this manual for details.
• The dock is compatible with any Microsoft Surface device with a USB-C
port. The rear clamp is adjustable and can adjust to any compatible
Surface device.
1. Secure the U442-DOCK14-MS unit to the rear of your
Microsoft Surface unit via the flexible securing clamps on
either end of the dock.
2. Connect the dock’s USB-C male input connector to the
USB-C port on your Microsoft Surface device.
3. Connect a USB-C peripheral device to the USB-C Data/
PD 3.0 port.
OR
Charge the Surface device by connecting its USB-C PD Charger
to the docking station’s USB-C PD Charging port for up to
100W (20V 5A) of charging power.
4. Connect up to two USB peripheral devices such as hard drives,
smartphones and tablets to the USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports.
5. Connect a mouse or keyboard to the USB 2.0 port.
6. Connect to a wired Ethernet network at speeds up to
10/100/1000 Mbps (Gigabit) via the RJ45 port.
7. Transmit 4K video to a connected display via the HDMI port.

Compatible Models
The U442-DOCK14-MS can be clamped to the back of any
Microsoft Surface device with a USB-C port and a width of 12
inches or less, including the following models:
• Surface GO
• Surface GO 2

The U442-DOCK14-MS also functions as a desktop docking
station with all other Surface devices with a USB-C port, but
cannot be clamped to them.

Notas:
• Este producto soporta resoluciones de video de hasta 4K (3840 x

1. Asegure la unidad U442-DOCK14-MS a la parte posterior de

Remarques :
• Ce produit prend en charge les résolutions allant jusqu’à 4K (3 840 x
2 160) @ 30 Hz. Si l'écran n'est pas en mesure de transmettre des
vidéos depuis la station d'accueil, consulter la section Dépannage de ce
manuel pour plus de détails.
• La station d'accueil est compatible avec tout appareil Microsoft Surface
doté d'un port USB-C. La bride arrière est réglable et peut s'ajuster à
n'importe quel dispositif Surface compatible.
1. Retenir l'appareil U442-DOCK14-MS à l'arrière de l'appareil
Microsoft Surface en utilisant les brides de fixation flexibles à
chaque extrémité de la station d'accueil.
2. Raccorder le connecteur d'entrée mâle USB-C de la

Установка
Примечания:
• Данное изделие поддерживает видеоразрешения до 4K (3840 x 2160) при 30 Гц. В
случае невозможности передачи видеосигнала с док-станции см. раздел "Выявление
и устранение неисправностей" настоящего руководства.
• Док-станция совместима с любым устройством Microsoft Surface,
оснащенным портом USB-C. Задний зажим является регулируемым и может
быть подогнан под любое совместимое устройство Surface.
1. Прикрепите устройство мод. U442-DOCK14-MS с тыльной стороны своего устройства
Surface с помощью гибких фиксирующих зажимов на любом конце док-станции.
2. Соедините входной штекерный разъем USB-C док-станции с
портом USB-C своего устройства Microsoft Surface.
3. Подключите периферийное устройство с разъемом USB-C к порту USB-C
Data/PD 3.0.

Installation
Hinweise:
• Dieses Produkt unterstützt Videoauflösungen bis zu 4K
(3840 x 2160) bei 30 Hz. Wenn Ihr Bildschirm das Video
vom Dock nicht übertragen kann, finden Sie weitere
Informationen im Abschnitt Fehlerbehebung in dieser
Bedienungsanleitung.
• Das Dock ist mit jedem Microsoft Surface-Gerät mit einem
USB-C-Anschluss kompatibel. Die hintere Klemme ist verstellbar
und kann an alle kompatiblen Surface-Geräte angepasst werden.
1. Befestigen Sie die U442-DOCK14-MS-Einheit über die
flexiblen Sicherungsklemmen an beiden Enden des Docks auf
der Rückseite des Microsoft Surface-Geräts.
2. Schließen Sie den USB-C-Stecker des Docks an den
USB-C-Anschluss Ihres Microsoft Surface-Geräts an.
3. Schließen Sie ein USB-C-Peripheriegerät an den
USB-C-Daten-/PD 3.0-Anschluss an.
ODER
Laden Sie das Surface-Gerät auf, indem Sie das USB-C PD-
