This helps optimize the performance of uour

Water Hardness Calibration
Priorto the first use,the washer needs
to be calibrated for water hardness.Please
follow directions below to calibrate the washer
to the hardnessof your tap water.
Determine the Hardness of Your
Tap Water
Inthe bag that contained these instructions,
Uou should find a water hardnesstest strip
package. Readthe instructions on the
package, remove the test strip and follow
the instructions to determine the hardness
level of uour tap water. You will use this
information to calibrate uour washer to
dispensethe optimal amount of detergent.

To calibrate gour water hardness:
1. Pressthe POWERbutton.
2.Press the SETTINGS button.
3. Usethe down arrow to select the WATER
HARDNESSSETUP,and pressthe ENTER
button.
4. The displau will show numbers i to 5.
The washer defaults to setting 3.
5. Usethe left and right arrows to select
the number determined with the test strip
from the table above, and pressthe ENTER
button.
