Automaticallyadjusts incline to maintain your TargetHeartRate. Perfectfor simulating the intensity of your
favoritesport or everydayactivity. Time-basedgoal.
I) SelectTHRZONEusing PROGRAMKEYS,thenpressENTER.
2) Choosea TARGETHEARTRATEusing the+/- KEYSand pressENTER.
Note:Usethe chart providedin this guideto determineyour targetheart rate (page
24).
3) SetTIMEusingthe +!- KEYSand pressENTER.
4) PressSTARTto beginyourprogram.
At this time,yourprogram hasbeensuccessfullysavedintomemory,andcan beused
for future workouts.
ToRESETyourprogram information and deleteit from memory,press and hold the
ENTERkeyfor 5 seconds(afleryou haveselectedthe TttRZONEprogram).
After the warm-upperiod, the INCLINElevel will increasegradually to getyou to the entered TARGETHEART
RATEZONE.Onceyouareat theTARGETHEARTRATEZONE(plusorminus 5 beatsperminute)theINCLINElevel
will remain until yourise aboveordrop belowyour TARGETHEARTRATEZONEat which timethe incline would
adjust accordingly.It thereis no heart rate detected,the incline win not change.Ifyour heart rate is 25 beats
overyourtarget zonetheprogramwinshut down.Thereis a cooldownat the endof the program.At this time,
the programwill gradually decreasethe incline level togiveyoua smoothcooldown.
60_ OF MAX HEARTRATE:Usedfor beginnersand longer workouts.Lowerintensity and longer duration
helpsburn fat moreefficiently.
65_ OFMAX HEARTRATE:Usedfor beginnertointermediateusersand mid to longrangeworkouts.Lower
intensity and longer durationhelpsburn fat moreefficiently.
70_ OF MAX HEARTRATE:Usedfor intermediateusersand mid rangecardio workouts.Whilethis range
burnsfat it really challengesthe cardiovascularsystemand helps strengthentheheart.
75_ OF MAX HEARTRATE:Usedfor advancedusersand short to mid rangecardio workouts.Bums fat,
tonesmusclesandchallengestheheart.
80_ OFMAXHEARTRATE:Usedfor advancedusersand short workouts.Burnsfat, strengthensand tones
muscles,and challengesthe entirecardiovascularsystem.
Theuserfavorite keysallow upto two programsandprogramsettings to besavedinto memo_ Usinga
favoritekeyenablesyouto beginyour favoriteprogramquickly.Toseta userFAVORITEKEY,followthesteps
as listed in the "SETTINGFAVORITEKEYS"section.
SETTINGFAVORITEKEYS:
I) Pressand hold the FAVORITEI or FAVORITE2 keyfor five secondsuntilyou
hearthreebeeps.TheLEDinsidethe FAVORITEKEYwill beflashing.
*NOTE:TheFAVORITEKEYScannot beprogrammedif youarealreadyin a
program.
2) Selectpreferredprogramusing thePROGRAMKEYSandpressENTER.
*NOTE:TheCUSTOMPROGRAM(PS)cannot besavedinto a FAVORITEKEY.
3) ForPI, set TIME,INCLINE,and SPEEDusing the+/- KEYSand pressENTER
after setting each value. ForprogramsP2throughP4,set LEVELand TIME
using the+/- KEYSand pressENTERafter setting each value. ForP6,set
TARGETHEARTRATEand TIMEusing the+/- KEYSandpressENTERafter
setting each value.
4) Afteryouhaveselectedyour settings,pressthe FAVORITEKEYto save
thesettings or pressSTARTto beginyourprogramandyoursettings will
automatically besaved.
USINGA FAVORITEKEY..
Afteryouhaveprogrammeda FAVORITEKEYas listed in the "SETTING
FAVORITEKEYS"section,youmay usethe favorite key.Pressthe desired
FAVORITEI or FAVORITE2 keythenpressSTARTto beginthe program.
*NOTE:TheFAVORITEI and FAVORITE2keysmayonlybeusedbeforestarting
a program.Thekeyswill not function whilein a program.
