The safety of you and others is very important.
We have provided many important safety messages in this manual and on your
appliance. Always read and follow all instructions.
This is the safety alert symbol, which warns about potential hazards,
which could injure or kill you and others. All safety messages will follow
this symbol, along with the words 'DANGER', 'WARNING' or 'CAUTION'.
The words mean:
An imminently hazardous situation. You could be
seriously injured or killed if you do not
immediately follow instructions.
A potentially hazardous situation which, if not
avoided, could result in serious injury or death.
A potentially hazardous situation which, if not
avoided, may result in moderate or minor injury
All messages will explain what the hazard is, how to reduce the risk of injury and the
consequences if instructions are not properly followed.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire, electrical shock, injury to persons or damage when
using the air conditioner, follow basic precautions, including the following:
● Appliance shall be stored in a well-ventilated area, where the room size is no less than

● Read all of the instructions before using this appliance.
● Plug into a grounded three prong outlet.
● Do not remove ground prong.
● Do not use an adapter.
● Do not use an extension cord.
● Do not operate the air conditioner if it has a damaged cord or plug, if it is not working
properly or if it has been damaged or dropped.
● The air conditioner should be serviced only by qualified service personnel. Call an
authorised service company for examination, repair or adjustment.
● Disconnect power before servicing and cleaning.
