9 Trouble-shooting

▪ «UX/EXX» ▪ Disruption in the
power supply.
▸ Acknowledge the error message by
touching «OK».
▸ Switch the power supply off for about
1 minute.
▸ Switch the power supply back on.
▸ If the error appears again, note down
the error message in full along with
the serial number (SN) of the appli-
ance (see page 66).
▸ Disconnect from the power supply.
▸ Contact Customer Services.
▪ «Descaling
failed – Appli-
ance was not
descaled.»
▪ Used unsuitable de-
scaler.
▸ Descale again using the recommen-
ded descaler.
▪ Descaling was not
carried out correctly.
▸ If the message does not disappear
after repeating the descaling process
several times, note down the error
message in full along with the serial
number (SN) (see page 66).

▪ «Check water
feed»
▪ Appliance unable to
draw water from the
fixed water connec-
tion.
▸ Check that the water inlet is open and
water is available.
▸ If the water inlet is open, acknow-
ledge the message by selecting .
If the water inlet is open, yet the display
does not remain in the acknowledged
state:
▸ Contact Customer Services.
▪ «Appliance is
rinsing»
▪ The water system is
automatically rinsed
about every 2 weeks.
No action needed.
▪ «E78/F24» ▪ The appliance cannot
pump the water off
the bottom of the
cooking space due to
a pump malfunction
or blockage.
▸ Note down the serial number (SN) of
the appliance (see page 66) and
contact Customer Services.
▸ Turn off the stopcock to the water
supply.
▪ The appliance keeps
trying to pump off wa-
ter from the bottom of
the cooking space
even though there is
none there. This is
caused by a faulty
level measurement.
▸ Start at 100°C for 10 minutes
and allow the automatic steam reduc-
tion and rinse cycles to run through
completely.
▸ The appliance can then be operated
again as usual.
