- Do not run cord under carpeting. Do not cover cord with throw rugs,
runners, or similar coverings. Do not route under furniture or appliances.
Arrange cord away from traffi c area and where it will not be tripped over.
The cord should not hang over edges of counters or be placed where
it can be crimped or closed in doors. Place appliance near an easily
accessible outlet so the product can be unplugged quickly during an
emergency.
- Do not modify this product with any aftermarket accessory.

- Use this heater only as described in this manual. Any other use not
recommended by the manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock, or injury
to persons.
- Extreme caution is required at all times a heater is in operation. Always
unplug heater when not in use. Vornado does not recommend unattended
and unsupervised use of this heater.
- This heater is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch
hot surfaces. If provided, use handles when moving this heater.
- Always plug heaters directly into a wall outlet/receptacle. Never use
with an extension cord or relocatable power tap (outlet/power strip). Do
not use this heater on a surge-protected unit or Ground Fault Circuit
Interrupted (GFCI) outlet.
- Before plugging power cord into electrical outlet, be sure that all
electrical information on the rating label, including voltage, is compatible
with your outlet’s power supply.

RÉINITIALISATION DU VENTILATEUR CHAUFFANT VORNADO
Le ventilateur chauffant Vornado est doté d’un dispositif de sécurité à arrêt automatique
multiniveau, conçu pour empêcher la surchauffe. L’appareil peut surchauffer si ses orifi ces d’entrée
ou de sortie d’air sont bloqués. En cas de surchauffe, le dispositif de sécurité à arrêt automatique
coupe l’alimentation électrique du ventilateur chauffant; vous devez ensuite réinitialiser
manuellement le ventilateur chauffant.
1. Mettez le ventilateur chauffant hors tension, puis débranchez-le.
2. Enlevez tout objet qui entrave le fonctionnement de l’appareil, s’il y a lieu.
3. Patientez 5 à 10 minutes pendant que l’appareil refroidit.
4. Branchez l’appareil et placez-le à l’endroit désiré.
5. Mettez le ventilateur chauffant sous tension. Le ventilateur chauffant Vornado devrait
maintenant fonctionner normalement.
Remarque : Si le dispositif de sécurité à arrêt automatique se déclenche sans cesse ou que
le ventilateur chauffant ne se réinitialise pas après que vous avez suivi la procédure ci-dessus,
appelez le service aux consommateurs de Vornado, sans frais, au 1 800 234-0604.
