d’incapacités
- Faire preuve de la plus grande prudence quand des enfants de 12 ans
et moins et des personnes dont les capacités physiques, sensorielles ou
mentales sont réduites si ceux-ci utilisent le produit ou en font l’installation,
le nettoyage ou l’entretien ou se trouvent à proximité du produit pendant
son utilisation, son installation, son nettoyage ou son entretien, et lorsque
le ventilateur chauffant fonctionne sans surveillance. Il faut surveiller les
enfants afi n de s’assurer qu’ils ne jouent pas avec l’appareil, ses pièces ou
son matériel d’emballage.
AVERTISSEMENT RELATIF À L’INSTALLATION — Afi n de réduire les
risques d’incendie, de décharge électrique et de blessures, respecter les
consignes suivantes :
- Un ventilateur chauffant contient des pièces internes chaudes qui
produisent des arcs électriques ou des étincelles. Ne pas utiliser le
ventilateur chauffant dans des endroits où de l’essence, de la peinture ou
des liquides infl ammables sont utilisés ou rangés.
- Ne pas utiliser le ventilateur chauffant dans un VR, un bateau ni dans tout
autre endroit où l’alimentation d’une batterie est convertie en
alimentation CA.
- Garder une distance d’au moins 0,9 mètre (3 pieds) entre tous les côtés de
l’appareil et les prises électriques, les meubles, les coussins, les oreillers,
la literie, les papiers, les vêtements, les rideaux et tout autre objet pouvant
prendre feu ou causer un incendie. Ne pas placer le ventilateur chauffant
près d’un lit, car des objets tels qu’un oreiller ou une couverture peuvent

Improper product use, which includes using an external device that alters or converts the voltage
or frequency of electricity, or shipping a Vornado product to a country not intended for use will
void all warranties. Any unauthorized product modifi cation, repair by unauthorized repair center or
use of non-approved replacement parts is not recommended and any consequences will not be
covered by support services or product warranties. The product warranty will be honored only on
models that are being used in the country intended. REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT AS PROVIDED

EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTY ON THIS PRODUCT. EXCEPT TO THE EXTENT PROHIBITED
BY APPLICABLE LAW, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR
A PARTICULAR PURPOSE ON THIS PRODUCT IS LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE DURATION
OF THIS WARRANTY. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or
consequential damages, or allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above
limitations or exclusions may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specifi c legal rights, and
you may have other rights that vary from state to state. The manufacturer assumes no responsibility
for damage or injury caused by failure to follow these instructions, improper product use or
unauthorized product modifi cations. Any such actions will invalidate the product warranty.
