ENGLISH INSTRUCTIONS
The Arrowsaw comes complete with two precision ball bearing Spin Testers.
These Spin Testers are used to verify the trueness (straightness) of arrow
shafts.
1. Place the Spin Testers onto the Base so that the ball bearings on the Spin
Testers are facing each other.
2. Using an arrow shaft as a guide, position the Spin Testers so that they are
within 1” of the end of each side of the arrow shaft.
3. Rotate the arrow shaft by spinning it in either direction.
4. If the arrow shaft is true (straight), it will spin smoothly without any bounce
or excess movement.
5. If when spun, the arrow bounces or does not spin true (straight), it is
recommended that the faulty arrow shaft be discarded.
USING THE SPIN TESTERS
The Arrowsaw was ne-tuned at the factory to ensure the quietest possible
operation. Due to the Arrowsaw’s high RPM’s, noise during operation is
normal. If the saw vibrates excessively or becomes unusually noisy after Blade
replacement, please check the following:
.
The Arrow Shaft Guide should not come in contact with the Blade.
.
Ensure that the Set Screw that holds the Blade Mounting Bracket is fastened
to the at portion of the Motor Shaft. If needed, re-position the Blade
Mounting Bracket so the Set Screw is in full contact with the at portion of
the Motor Shaft.
.
If excessive vibration or noise continues with the Arrowsaw, contact
Customer Service for help.
