thethermostat yourself
Do notusethermometers, suchas thosefoundingrocerystores,to checkthe temperatureserdngofyouroven.
Thesethermometers may vary 20-40 degrees.
NOTE.-This adjustmentvvillnot affectthe broilingorthe self-cleaningtemperatures.Theadjustmentwillbe
retained inmemoryaftera powerfailure.
ToAdjust the Thermostat

atthe same time for3seconds until
the displayshows SF.

Press the BAgEpad. A two digit
number shows in the display.
The oven temperature can be
adjusted up to (+) 35°F hotter or (-)
35°Fcooler. Tap the TEMP+ pad to
increase the temperature in 1 degree
increments. Tap the rOlCP- pad to
decrease the temperature in 1
degree increments.

adjustment, press the START
pad to go backto the time of day
display. Use your oven asyou
would normally.
Thetype ofmargarine will affect bakingperformance!
Most recipesforbakinghavebeendevelopedusinghigh-fatpreductssuchas butteror margarine(80%fat).IfYou
decreasethe fat therecipemay notgivethe sameresultsas witha higherfatproduct
Recipefailurecanresuit if cakes,pies,pastries,cookiesor candiesaremadewithlow-fatspreads.TheIowerthe fat
contentofa spread product the morenoticeablethese differencesbecome.
Federal standards l_equire products labeled "margarine" to contain at least 80% fat by weight. Low-fat spreads, on the
other hand, contain less fat and more water. The high moisture content of these spreads affect the texture and flavor of
baked goods. For best results with your old favorite recipes, use mmgarine, butter or stick spreads containing at least
70% vegetable oil.
