CONTROL PANEL
OVEN FUNCTIONS
GRILL
The top central heating element will operate. The extremely high and direct temperature of the grill
makes it possible to brown the surface of meats and roasts while locking the juices in to keep them
tender. The grill is also highly recommended for dishes that require a high temperature on the
surface: beef steaks, veal, rib steak, fillets, hamburgers etc.
FAN COOKING
Hot air comes from the oven. This is the normal oven function and is ideal for joints of meat and
everyday cooking. The temperature can be adjusted using the temperature dial.
GRILL AND FAN COOKING
The top central heating element will operate alongside the hot air from the fan for more even and
faster cooking of thicker and larger foods.
TURBO HEATING AND FAN
The turbo function evenly disperses the heat in the oven so all food on all racks will cook evenly. It is
recommended that you preheat the oven for about 10 minutes.
OVEN LIGHT
The oven light will operate during all oven functions.
OVEN INDICATOR LIGHT
Will Illuminate while the oven is heating, and will go out when the oven has reached the desired
temperature.
FIRST USE OF THE OVEN
The first time you use your appliance, we recommend that you set the oven to maximum temperature. Set
the function dial to a cooking mode and leave the empty oven running for about 40-60 minutes with the oven
door shut. Then, open the oven door and allow the oven to cool. Any odour that may be detected during this
initial use is due to the evaporation of substances used to protect the oven during storage.

GENERAL OVEN AND COOKING TIPS
The wire shelves should always be pushed firmly to the back of the oven.
While cooking, baking trays should be placed level with the front edge of the oven’s wire shelves. Other
containers should be placed centrally. Keep all trays and containers away from the back of the oven, as over-
browning of the food may occur.
For even browning, the maximum recommended size of baking tray is: 340 mm (13½”) by 340 mm (13½”).
When the oven is on, do not leave the door open for longer than necessary, otherwise the controls may get
very hot.
Always leave 1cm gap between trays on the same shelf. This allows the heat to circulate freely around
them.
To reduce fat splashing when you add vegetables to hot fat around a roast, dry them thoroughly or
brush lightly with cooking oil.
Where dishes may boil and spill over during cooking, place them on a baking tray.
USING THE HOB
Do not use pots and pans which are unsteady,
as these could tip or fall.
Do not use mats, heat diffusers or wok stands.
These will cause a temperature build-up which
can damage the hob.
Do not let cooking pots bubble over as this could leave a mark and residue on the hob.
Always use pots and pans with flat bases. Uneven or thin bases will waste energy and cook slowly
Flame cut-off safety device (FFD) operates instantly when safety mechanism
activates due to overflown liquid over upper hobs.
1. The valves controlling the gas cookers have special security mechanism. In order to light the cooker
always press on the switch forward and bring it to flame symbol by turning counter clockwise. All of the
lighters shall operate and the cooker you controlled shall light only. Keep the switch pressed until ignition i
performed. Press on the lighter button and turn the knob counter clockwise.
2. Do not continuously operate the igniter for more than 15 seconds. If the burner does not ignite, wait
minimum one minute before try again.
3. In models with gas security system, when flame of the cooker is extinguished, control valve cuts off the
gas automatically. For operate the burners with gas security system you must press the knob and turn
counter-clock-wise. After the ignition you must wait nearly 5-10 second for gas security systems activation.
If the burner is extinguished for of the any reason, close the gas control valve and wait a minimum of one
minute before trying again.

COOKING ADVICE
The oven offers a wide range of options which allow you to cook any type of food in the best possible way.
With time you will learn to make the best use of this versatile cooking appliance and the following directions
are only a guideline which may be varied according to your own personal experience.
PREHEATING
You should always preheat your oven before placing food in it to cook. We advise for the conventional
cooking function to be used for pre-heating. Once the food has been placed in the oven, the most appropriate
cooking mode can then be selected.
USING THE GRILL
Select the grill mode and place food under the centre of the grill due to the central part of the top heating
element being active.
Please use the grill pan set provided ensuring that there are no unwanted spillages formed inside your oven.
When using this mode, we advise you to set the thermostat to 200, as it is the most efficient way to use
the grill. However, this does not mean you cannot use other temperatures, simply by adjusting the
thermostat to the desired temperature.
BAKING CAKES
When baking cakes, always place them in a preheated oven. Make sure you wait until the oven has been
preheated thoroughly. Do not open the oven door during baking to prevent cakes from dropping or sinking.
PASTRY IS TOO DRY
Increase the temperature by 10and reduce the cooking time.
PASTRY DROPPED
Use less liquid or lower the temperature by 10. Do not open the oven door during cooking.
PASTRY IS TOO DARK ON TOP
Place it on a lower rack, lower the temperature, and increase the cooking time.
WELL COOKED ON THE INSIDE BUT UNDERCOOKED ON THE OUTSIDE
Use less liquid, lower the temperature, and increase the cooking time.
THE PASTRY STICKS TO THE PAN
Grease the pan well and sprinkle it with a dusting of flour or use greaseproof paper. Use a lower temperature
setting. It is not necessary to remove all the food at the same time.
COOKING FISH AND MEAT
When cooking white meat, fowl and fish, use a temperature between 180 and 200.
For red meat that should be well done on the outside while tender and juicy in the inside, it is a good idea to
start with a high temperature (200-220) for a short time, then turn the oven down.
In general, the larger the roast, the lower the temperature. Place the meat on the centre of the rack and
place a tray beneath it to catch the fat.
Make sure that the wire rack is inserted so that it is in the centre of the oven. If you would like to increase
the amount of heat from below, use the low rack heights. For savoury roasts (especially duck and wild game),
dress the meat with lard or bacon on the to

maintenance.
Do not clean using caustic creams, abrasive cleaning powders, thick wire wool or hard tools. Enamelled parts
of the oven can be damaged if excess cleaning liquids are not immediately removed.
After cleaning the interior parts of the oven with a soapy cloth, rinse it and then dry thoroughly with a soft
cloth. Clean the glass surfaces with special glass cleaning agents. Never use flammable agents like acid,
thinner or petrol when cleaning your oven. Do not clean your oven with a steam cleaner. Do not wash any
part of your oven in a dishwasher.
ENAMELLED PARTS
In order to keep them as new, it is necessary to clean them frequently with mild warm soapy water and then
dry with a cloth.
Do not wash them while hot and never use abrasive powders or abrasive cleaning materials. Do not leave
anything spilled onto enamelled parts for long periods of time. Stainless steel parts must be cleaned
frequently with mildly warm soapy water and a soft sponge and then dried with a soft cloth. Do not use
abrasive powders or abrasive cleaning materials. Do not leave anything spilled onto stainless steel parts for
long periods of time

REDUCING GAS FLOW
1. Ignite the burner that is to be adjustment and turn the knob to the reduced position.
2. Remove the knob from the gas tap.
3. Use an appropriately sized screwdriver to adjust the flow rate adjustment screw. For LPG (butane-pro
pane) turn the screw clockwise. For the naturel gas, you should turn the screw counter- clockwise once.
“The normal length of a straight flame in the reduced position should be 6-7 mm.
4. If the flame is higher than the desired position, turn the screw clockwise. If it is smaller turn
anticlockwise.
5. For the last control, bring the burner both to high-flame and reduced positions and check whether the
flame is on or off. Depending on the type of gas tap used in your appliance the adjustment screw position
may vary. To adjust your oven acc. to the gas type, make the adjustment for reduced flame carefully by
turning with a small screwdriver as shown below on the screw in the middle of the gas cocks as well as
nozzle changes. (figure 6 and 7)
