MOUNTING A BINOCULAR ON A
TRIPOD OR MONOPOD
Many full-size binoculars feature a built-in threaded tripod adapter port
that allows the binocular to be attached to a tripod by means of a tripod
adapter. To locate this threaded port, please consult your binocular’s
instruction manual. Once the port has been located, attach the binocular
to the RSR Binocular Tripod Adapter by threading the adapter into the
binocular’s tripod adapter port and turning the adapter’s knob until it is
secure. Next, attach the base of the adapter to the mounting plate (or
mounting platform, as appropriate) of the tripod or monopod. Always
check to ensure that the adapter is fully secure to both the binocular and
the tripod or monopod before use.
REFLEX SIGHT RAIL (RSR)
The RSR Binocular Tripod Adapter includes a refl ex sight (red dot fi nder)
rail to allow attachment of one of these sights to the binocular. The rail
is not required to use the adapter and can be attached or removed
as desired.
NOTE: Depending on the binocular being used, it is often easier to attach or remove the refl ex sight
rail unit from the adapter unit without a binocular attached to the adapter.
To attach the rail, simply open the clip on the refl ex sight rail unit by
turning the folding lever counter-clockwise. Once the clip is opened
suffi ciently, clip it over the top of the tripod adapter base unit. Then,
secure it by folding the lever so that it curves toward the base and turn
it clockwise until snug. Do not over-tighten or force the lever toward
the base as this may cause damage to the unit. The rail is now ready
to accept the mounting of a refl ex sight. Always consult the instruction
manual of the refl ex sight being used to ensure optimal performance.

OU UN PIED MONOBRANCHE
Plusieurs jumelles de dimension régulière sont munies d’un orifi ce fi leté
intégré qui permet l’installation des jumelles sur un trépied à l’aide d’un
adaptateur de trépied pour jumelles. Pour localiser cet orifi ce fi leté,
veuillez consulter le mode d’emploi de vos jumelles. Une fois l’orifi ce
localisé, fi xez les jumelles à l’adaptateur de trépied pour jumelles RSR
en vissant l’adaptateur dans l’orifi ce pour adaptateur de trépied et en
tournant la molette de l’adaptateur jusqu’à ce qu’il soit fermement en
place. Attachez ensuite la base de l’adaptateur à la plaque de montage
(ou à la plate-forme de montage, le cas échéant) du trépied ou du pied
monobranche. Vérifi ez toujours que l’adaptateur est fermement fi xé aux
jumelles ainsi qu’au trépied ou pied monobranche avant l’utilisation.
RAIL POUR VISEUR REFLEX
(ANGLAIS : REFLEX SIGHT RAIL, RSR)
L’adaptateur de trépied pour jumelles RSR comprend un rail pour viseur
refl ex (chercheur à point rouge) pour permettre la fi xation de l’un de ces
viseurs aux jumelles. Le rail n’est pas toujours nécessaire pour utiliser
l’adaptateur et peut être fi xé ou retiré à votre gré.
REMARQUE: En fonction des jumelles utilisées, il est souvent plus facile de fi xer ou de retirer
le rail pour viseur refl ex de l’adaptateur lorsque les jumelles ne sont pas fi xées à
l’adaptateur.
Pour fi xer le rail, il suffi t d’ouvrir le clip sur l’unité de rail de viseur refl ex
en tournant le levier de pliage dans le sens antihoraire. Une fois que le
clip est suffi samment ouverte, il clip sur le dessus de l’unité trépied de
base de l’adaptateur. Ensuite, fi xez-le en pliant le levier de sorte qu’elle
courbes vers la base et tourner dans le sens horaire jusqu’au blocage.
Ne pas trop serrer ou de forcer le levier vers la base, car cela pourrait
causer des dommages à l’unité. Le rail est maintenant prêt à accepter le
montage d’un viseur refl ex. Toujours consulter le manuel d’instructions
du viseur refl ex est utilisé pour assurer une performance optimale.
