The fan should be set

surface to avoid it being

fan to excessive heat
or humidity as this can
cause damage to the
electrical components.
The fan should be kept
out of the reach of
children.
DO NOT use this fan
in the immediate
surroundings of a
bath, a shower or a
swimming pool. Never
locate the fan where it
may fall into the bath
tub or other water
container.
In the unlikely event
the appliance develops
a fault, stop using
it immediately and
seek advice from the
Customer Support
Team.

Before First Use:
Read all instructions and safety information
carefully before first use. Please retain this
information for future reference.
1. Remove the parts from the packaging.
2. Remove the cable tie and unravel the
power cord.
3. Your appliance is now ready for normal
use.
4. Dispose of the packaging in a responsible
manner.
5. Place the unit on a firm and level surface.
Using Your Appliance:
1. Place the fan in a suitable location.
2. Plug the unit into a mains socket.
3. Choose one of the settings to select
the required fan speed. Press the
corresponding button:
1 = Low
2 = Medium
3 = High
4. The fan will turn on and air will be
emitted.
5. Press the OFF button to turn the unit off.
Oscillation:
Press the oscillation button to activate the
oscillation function, if required. Press the
oscillation button again to stop the oscillation
function.
Timer:
Turn the timer control dial to pre-set a time
for the fan to operate in a range of between 20
and 120 minutes, in 20 minute increments.
Cleaning and care:
Before cleaning always switch off the
appliance and remove the plug from the
electrical socket.
Wipe the exterior of the unit with a soft,
damp cloth. A little mild detergent may
be used if required. Remove any soap
film with a damp cloth.
DO NOT allow any water or other liquid to
enter the motor housing.
Keep the air vents at the rear of the
main body free from dust or fluff– use a
vacuum cleaner to remove these when
necessary. DO NOT probe any opening to
remove fluff.
Never use an abrasives, harsh detergents,
chemical cleaners or solvents.
When not in use, store the fan (preferably
in its original box) in a cool, clean and dry
location out of reach of children.
WARNING:
DO NOT immerse any electrical part of
the appliance in water such as motor units
or plugs.

Wiring safety for UK use only
IMPORTANT
As the colours in the
mains lead of this
appliance may not
correspond with the
coloured markings
identifying the
terminals in your
plug, please proceed as
follows:
The wires in the mains lead are coloured in
accordance with the following code:
Blue neutral [N] Brown live [L]
Plug Fitting Details (Where Applicable).
The wire coloured blue is the neutral and
must be connected to the terminal marked
[N] or coloured black.
The wire coloured brown is the live wire
and must be connected to the terminal
marked [L] or coloured red.
On no account must either the brown or
the blue wire be connected to the [EARTH]
terminal .
Always ensure that the cord grip is fastened
correctly.
The plug must be fitted with a fuse of the
same rating already fitted and conforming
to BS 1362 and be ASTA approved.
If in doubt consult a qualified electrician
who will be pleased to do this for you.
Non-Rewireable Mains Plug.
If your appliance is supplied with a non-
rewireable plug fitted to the mains lead
and should the fuse need replacing,
you must use an ASTA approved one
(conforming to BS 1362 of the same rating).
If in doubt, consult a qualified electrician
who will be pleased to do this for you.
If you need to remove the plug - disconnect
it from the mains - and then cut it off the
mains lead and immediately dispose of its
safely. Never attempt to reuse the plug or
insert it into a socket outlet as there is a
danger of an electric shock.
