Power tool use and care
• Do not force the power tool. Use the

Service
• Have your power tool serviced by a

NOTE: Before using the tool, read the
instruction book carefully.
INTENDED USE
The machine is intended for hammer drilling in
brick, concrete and stone as well as for drilling
in wood, metal and plastic. Machines with
electronic control and right/left rotation are also
suitable for thread-cutting.
1. AUXILIARY HANDLE (See Fig A)
Slide the handle onto the drill and rotate to the
desired working position. To clamp the Auxiliary
Handle, rotate the handgrip clockwise. To
loosen the Auxiliary Handle, rotate the handgrip
counterclockwise. Always use the Auxiliary Handle.
2. INSTALLING THE DEPTH GAUGE (See Fig B)
The Depth Gauge (2) can be used to set a
constant drilling depth. To use the Depth
Gauge, rotate the locking screw on the Depth
Gauge (3) counter-clockwise. Insert the Depth
Gauge through the hole on the Auxiliary Handle.
Slide the Depth Gauge to required depth and
tighten the locking screw for depth gauge (3) by
turning it clockwise.
3. INSERTING A TOOL INTO CHUCK (See
Fig C)
When mounting the drill bit, insert the bit into
the Chuck Jaws as far as it will go. Ensure the
drill bit is in the center of the Chuck Jaws. Using
the Chuck Key provided, insert the key into each
of the three key holes on the chuck and rotate to
tighten. Note: this should be completed for each
hole. Your drill bit is now locked in the chuck.
The bit can be removed by reversing the above
procedure.
4. ON/OFF SWITCH (See Fig D)

For forward bit rotation, move the F/R rotational
switch to the left marked “

rotation, move the F/R rotational switch to the right

switch whilst the drill in operation
or the on/off switch is locked as this will

1. Drilling masonry and concrete
Select the drill/hammer action selector
switch to the “hammer symbol” position.
Tungsten carbide drill bits should always be
used for drilling masonry, concrete etc with
a high speed
.
2. Drilling steel
Select the drill/hammer action selector
switch to the “drill symbol” position. HSS
drill bits should always be used for drilling
steel with a lower speed.
3. Pilot holes
When drilling a large hole in tough material
(i.e. steel), we recommend drilling a small

4. Drilling tiles
Select the drill/hammer action selector
switch to the “drill symbol” position to drill
the tile. When tile has been penetrated,
switch over to “hammer symbol” position.
5. Cool the motor
If your power tool becomes too hot, set the
speed to maximum and run no load for 2-3
minutes to cool the motor.
Remove the plug from the socket before
carrying out any adjustment, servicing or
maintenance.
Your power tool requires no additional
lubrication or maintenance.
There are no user serviceable parts in your
power tool. Never use water or chemical
cleaners to clean your power tool. Wipe clean
with a dry cloth. Always store your power tool
in a dry place. Keep the motor ventilation slots
clean. Keep all working controls free of dust.
Occasionally you may see sparks through the
ventilation slots. This is normal and will not
damage your power tool.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be
replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent

at the mains plug.
2. If the drill is not drilling properly, check the

percutor en ladrillo, concreto y piedra así como
para perforación en madera, metal y plástico.
Las máquinas con control electrónico y rotación

Cuando coloque la broca, insértela entre las
mordazas del mandril tanto como se pueda.
Asegúrese que las brocas estén en el centro
de las mordazas del mandril. Con la llave de

se debe insertar la llave del mandril. Apriételos
de igual forma a la vez en cada uno de los tres

Presione el interruptor on/off (encendido/
apagado) (6) y después el botón de bloqueo
en encendido (5), libere el interruptor on/off
primero y el botón de bloqueo en encendido
después. Su interruptor ahora está bloqueado
en encendido para uso continuo. Para apagar si
herramienta, sólo presione y libere el interruptor
on/off.

Para perforación use la rotación frontal marcada “

palanca se mueve a la derecha) para
liberar una broca atorada.
Nunca cambie la dirección de rotación cuando la
herramienta esté girando. Espere hasta que se
haya detenido.
NOTA: Nunca mueva el interruptor frontal/
reversa mientras el taladro está en
operación o el interruptor on/off esté bloqueado
ya que esto dañará el taladro.

1. Perforación de mampostería y concreto
Seleccione el interruptor de selector de
acción de perforación/percutor a la posición
de “símbolo de martillo”. Siempre se deben
usar brocas de carburo de tungsteno para
perforar mampostería, concreto, etc. con
una velocidad alta.
2. Perforación de acero
Seleccione el interruptor de selección de
acción de perforación/percutor a la posición
del “símbolo de taladro”. Siempre se deben
usar brocas HSS para perforar acero con
una velocidad más lenta.

use agua o limpiadores químicos para limpiar
