5.3 remote battery installation
!
WARNING
The remote control has a removal plastic tab to prolong the battery life while shipping. Remove the tab for the
remote control to function.
note:
1. To replace the existing battery, remove the battery
holder.
2. To remove the battery holder, turn the remote onto
its front side. Slide the battery holder outwards.
3. Replace the existing battery holder with a new bat-
tery (type CR 2025). Slide the battery holder back
into position.
4. The battery holder is secure onto the remote control
when a “CLICKING” noise is heard.

The remote control must remain within 5 meters (17
feet) of the appliance to be effective. This range may
be reduced when battery power is depleted. The
remote control must be aimed at the centre of the
appliance for it to function most effectively.
note:
This remote control requires button batteries that are hazardous to young children.
WARNING! KEEP BATTERIES OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN.
Swallowing may lead to serious injury or death in as little as 2 hours due to chemical

that the screw or other mechanical fastener is tightened). Do not use if compartment is not secure.
Dispose of used button batteries immediately and safely. Flat batteries can still be dangerous.
