the unit before storing or transporting.
• Store chain saw and extension cord
in a well ventilated area
• Store chain saw with all guards in
place and position chain saw so that
any sharp ob ect cannot accidentally
cause injury.
• Store chain saw unplugged, well out
ofthe reach ofchildren.
EXTERNAL SURFACES

beforestorage. Store in a cleandry area.
• Lightlyoil external metal surfaces and
guide bar.
• Oil the chain and wrep itin heavy
paper or cloth.
To prevent chain oilseepage during
storage, store the sew as follows:

• hung on a hook or nailthrough the
hole in the bar
