2. Turn the knob to make the knob handle vertical to lock the
rake. The rake is ready to use (Fig. 10).
3. To withdraw the rake, unlock the rake by turning the knob
handle horizontally, then lift the knob up (Fig. 11).
4. The rake will come up with the knob, when it is withdrawn,
turn the knob handle horizontally to lock the rake.
Starting + Stopping
mWARNING! Before switching on the tool, ensure that it
is not in contact with any object.
1. Secure the extension cord by using the extension cord
restraint holder. Then plug the appliance cord into the
extension cord (Fig. 12).
2. To start the unit, press the ON/OFF switch (Fig. 13).
3. To stop the tool, release the ON/OFF switch (Fig. 13).
mWARNING! After switching o the tool the motor
continues to run for a few seconds.
Speed Control
This unit is equipped with six variable speed settings (1 to 6)
(Fig. 14).
• Turn the speed selector switch to position “1” or “2” for
LOW speeds.
• Turn the speed selector switch to position “3” or “4” for
MEDIUM speeds.
• Turn the speed selector switch to position “5”, “6” or
“MAX” for HIGH speeds.
