Ventilation
It is important that the appliance be well
ventilated, and that air can circulate
unhindered above, below, and around it.
Keep ventilation openings, in the appliance
enclosure or in the built-in structure, clear of
obstruction. The figures below illustrate the
clearance necessary to achieve the required
air circulation.
OBS: There must be at least 1.18in (30mm)
between the cabinet and the wall behind it.
The two ventilation guards are mounted
before moving the appliance to its final
placement.

The guard’s function is to secure the absolute
minimum of ventilation if the appliance is
pushed too close up against a wall.
Steps:
1. Mount the ventilation guards in the holes
on the back cover. (Fig 3)

In a side-by-side arrangement, there must
be at least 0.9in (25mm) between and at the
sides of the cabinets, so the doors can be
opened freely
