Water tastes bad.
The kettle is switched on
and after a few seconds it
automatically switches off.
The display on handle
doesn’t switch on
The water inside the kettle, du-
ring the heating, comes to the
boil but the temperature, shown
on the display,is lower than 99°C.
“UP” shown on display
Cannot cancel the schedule
and the keep warm function
activated by app.
POSSIBLE CAUSE
There is lime scale into the
kettle.
1) Water is in the kettle
for more then 12 hours.
2)The kettle is not well
washed after the descaling
cycle.
The kettle is empty and the
protection system of the
heating element is working.
The kettle is not well
positioned on the power base
(5) and/or the plug (6) is not
well insert in the socket.
The kettle is used at an altitu-
de over 500/1000 meter on the
sea level.
Kettle placed on base during
plug-in or within 10 sec .
Kettle does not stop the keep
warm or start to heat water at
not desired scheduled time.
SOLUTION
Make the descaling as for point
b) of the Cleaning and mainte-
nance chapter.
1)We suggest to chan-
ge the residual water af-
ter each boling cycles.
2)Rinse the kettle sufficient
times in order to remove
completely the descaling
product.
Wait approximately 10 minu-
tes, ll the kettle with water
and switch it on.
Check if the plug (6) of
the power base (5) is well
connected to the wall so-
cket. Check if there is
electricity in your system.
Water boiling temperature va-
ries according to the altitude
than at see level as the be-
low list. In altitude the water
boils at a lower temperature
than 100°C (212,0 °F) due to
the pressure difference . It is
important you know that the
display of the kettle shows
the average boil temperature
of the water into the kettle.
Remove kettle from power
base and wait for 10 sec. be-
fore to put it on base again.
ON/OFF button must be pres-
sed for over 7 sec. After 7 sec.
digits show the word “RES”
