Venting Installation Guidelines
The following steps are for exterior ventilation.
Height and Clearance
IMPORTANT:
Vent system must terminate to the outside (roof or side wall).

For the most efficient and quiet operation:

kept to a minimum to provide efficient performance.

The minimum hood distance above cooktop must
not be less than 24 in. (61 cm). A maximum of 30
in. (76 cm) above cooktop is highly recommended
for best capture of cooking impurities. Distances
over 30 in. are at the installer and user’s discretion.
