PREPARING TO USE YOUR FOOD WARMER
OPERATING YOUR FOOD WARMER
BEFORE FIRST USE
Before using your Kenmore Food Warmer , remove any labels, stickers or tags that may be
attached to the appliance. Clean outside of appliance thoroughly with a soft, damp cloth.
1. Wash the Warmer and glass lid with hot, soapy water. NEVER immerse the Food Warmer in
water.
2. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
3. Place Food Warmer on a dry, at, level surface such as a countertop or table.
When turned on for the rst time, your new Food Warmer may emit an odor for up to 10 minutes.
This is due to the initial heating of the materials used in making the Slow Cooker. The odor is safe
and should not recur after initial heating.
Your Food Warmer is designed to heat and hold your favorite dip, fondue or sauce at the perfect
serving temperature. You can also use it for warming maple syrup for pancakes or waes. Melt
chocolate and keep at the perfect temperature for dipping fruit, cookies or pretzels, or for
molding candies.
NOTE: This Unit is not designed for use with uncooked meats. If a recipe calls for bacon, ground
beef or chicken, for example, the meat should be thoroughly cooked before adding it with other
ingredients and heating it in the unit.
1. Fill the Ceramic Liner Pot with desired dip or sauce and cover. The capacity of the Liner Pot is
about 1 to 1 ½ cups. Do not overll. Save room for stirring.
2. Plug cord into electrical outlet. A Green LED light illuminates to show the Warmer is plugged in.
Cover and heat about 30 to 60 minutes, or until dip, etc. is hot or completely melted. Stir dip
occasionally while melting or heating.
3. Remove cover before serving. The dip will stay at the perfect serving temperature for 3 to
4 hours.
If there is a power outage and you are unaware of how long the power was out, we suggest you
discard the food.
This Food Warmer is NOT ovenproof or microwave safe.
Always wear oven mitts when handling the Warmer.

or any liquid.

Never use abrasive cleansers or metal scouring pads to clean the Glass Lid, Ceramic Liner Pot or
Housing.
