3. Make sure the bread carriage lever is in the up position.
4. Unwind the power cord and plug into an outlet.
Run toaster empty through 1 full cycle to allow the new element to
preheat and burn off any dust that may have accumulated during
assembly.
5. With the bread carriage in the up position insert the slice(s) you
would like to toast.
6. Turn the browning control knob to desired position. The higher the
number the darker the toast (1-6). 1 Lightly Toasted to 6 Well
Toasted
7. Press the carriage lever down until it locks into position.
8. When the toaster cycle is complete, the toast rises automatically.
Note: To Stop the toasting cycle before it is completed simply
rotate the Control Knob around past the ‘1’ to the ‘STOPfeature.
9. Allow toaster to cool down completely, before handling.
WARNING: ALWAYS unplug your appliance when not in use to
avoid electrical damage to appliance.
10. DO NOT leave product unattended when in use.
11. NEVER wrap the power cord around the outside of the toaster.
Please store the power cord in the cord storage cavity underneath
the toaster.
Toasting Tips:
Toasting times may vary on the moisture level of the bread.
Pastries with filling: use extreme CAUTION as fillings become very
hot before the surface of the pastry becomes brown. Break open
pastries to check temperature of filling before biting.
For Toasting a single slice, use a lower setting (1-3) on the
Browning Control Knob.
For slightly DRY bread, use a lower setting (1-3) on the Browning
Control Knob.
FRESH bread or WHOLE WHEAT bread use a higher setting (4-6) on
the Browning Control Knob.
ENGLISH MUFFINS will require a higher setting (4-6) on the
Browning Control Knob.
