For your safety and continued enjoyment of this product,
always read the instruction book carefully before using.

DANGER
To reduce the risk of burns, electric shock and fire,
this product must be used in accordance with the following instructions:
1. Read all instructions.
2. ALWAYS UNPLUG THE UNIT FROM THE ELECTRICAL OUTLET
IMMEDIATELY AFTER USING.
3. Do not use while sleeping. Avoid falling asleep while using this product.
4. Do not use on an infant or an animal.
5. This pad is not to be used on or by any individual with certain disabilities,
a sleeping or unconscious person, or a person with poor blood circulation
unless carefully attended.
6. Do not use on areas of insensitive skin.
7. Burns can occur regardless of control setting; check skin under pad frequently.
8. Never use pad without removable cover in place.
9. Do not use where oxygen is being administered.
10. Do not use pins or other metallic means to fasten this pad in place.
11. Do not sit on or crush pad – avoid making sharp folds in pad.
12. Never pull this pad by the line cord.
13. Do not use the cord as a handle.
14. Carefully examine inner cover and line cord before each use. Discard the
pad if inner covering or line cord shows any sign of deterioration.
15. Do not tamper with this pad in any way. There are no user-serviceable
parts. If, for any reason, this pad does not function satisfactorily, return it to
authorized service center at address given.
16. Do not use this pad with liniment, salve or ointment preparations that
contain heat-producing ingredients, as skin burns could result. Use
wherever hot applications are desirable for personal comfort and wherever
recommended by your physician or dentist for the relief of pain.
17. Loop cord loosely when storing; tight wrapping may damage cord and
internal parts.
18. Keep the pad away from heated surfaces.
19. Place pad on top and not under the part of the body needing heat.
20. Do not put this pad in the microwave.
21. Do not leave pad unattended, especially if children are present.
22. Do not use pad underneath bedcovers and other types of blankets.
Do not place covers, such as sheets and blankets, over pad. Only the cloth
cover provided with the pad should be used.
23. Do not use pad on sensitive skin or when taking medication that can cause
sensitive skin.
24. Do not exceed 30 minutes of heat treatment or 10 minutes of heat and
massage treatment at one time.
25. Do not place the unit into a washing machine. Spot clean only, using a soft,
damp cloth. Do not use any household cleaners.
26. When not in use, unplug the heating pad and store in a dry location safely
out of reach of children.
SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS
Cautions:
This product does not have an automatic-off for the heat function. This
product has a 20 minutes automatic-off feature for massage.
This heating pad should not be used in the following cases unless directed by a
physician: if you have diabetes, tuberculosis, benign or malignant tumors, phlebitis
or thrombosis, hemorrhages, inflammations of the skin, undetermined calf pain
or joint pain, or poor circulation. Consult a physician before using if you have any
kind of fungal infection, swelling, fracture or persistent pain.
Consult your physician if you have any questions regarding therapeutic
use of this heating pad.
Do not use on any unexplained pain or swollen muscles or following a serious
muscular injury before consulting your physician.
Keep away from children.
Discontinue use of product if pain increases or swelling occurs after
application.
Do not use while bathing or showering. Use only in a dry environment.
Consult your doctor before using in cases of illness or medical condition,
including but not limited to pacemaker use, pregnancy or cancer.
If you experience pain in a muscle or joint for a prolonged period of time,
discontinue use and consult your doctor. Persistent pain could be a symptom
of a more serious condition.
Never use any heating products on open wounds, discolored areas, or any
area of the body that is swollen, burned, bruised or inflamed or where skin
eruptions, ulcerated sores or varicose veins are present.
This product should never be used by any individual suffering from any
ailments that would limit or altogether inhibit the users capacity to feel or
have any sensation in the body part that this product is being used for.
Use of this product should be pleasant and comfortable. Should pain or
discomfort result, discontinue use and consult your physician.
Ensure that your hands are dry when operating the controls or removing
the plug.
Do not fall asleep while using this product.
For indoor use only.
DO NOT EXCEED 30 MINUTES OF HEAT TREATMENT OR 10 MINUTES OF
HEAT AND MASSAGE TREATMENT AT ONE TIME.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
To operate the ConairComfort
Massaging
Heating Pad, first plug the power jack into the
hand control then plug the cord into a standard
120V electrical outlet.
1. Press the Heat button (bottom button) to turn
the heat on or off.
2. Press the Massage button (top button)
repeatedly to adjust the level of massage to High
or Low, and to turn the massage feature off.
The following light indicators show which
function(s) is/are being used:
Red indicator Heat only
Red + Green indicator Heat + Low Massage
Red + Orange indicator Heat + High Massage
Green only Low Massage Only
Orange only High Massage Only
For maximum benefit, use should not exceed 30 minutes of heat, or 10 minutes
of heat and massage at one time. The Massage function will automatically shut
off after 20 minutes of use.
For optimal use, place the side of the
heating pad with the “Heated Side” label
closest to your body. If the heating pad
becomes too hot, ip the pad over and
use the opposite side

call 1-800-3-CONAIR for shipping instructions. In the absence of a
purchase receipt, the warranty period shall be 12 months from the date of
manufacture.
