Troubleshoot T80901
Instructions to reduce incidences.
- Make sure you only use AA batteries and they must be removed once they have ran
out else there could be a risk that they leak and could lead to the bin breaking.
- This could be a reason customers are facing issues with the lid not opening.
- Do not mix battery brands.
- Do not use water on the bin lid.
- Never rinse in water.
- Make sure bin is turned off whilst cleaning.
- Place the sensor bin at least 2 meters from high frequency electronic products
(microwaves, remote controls)
- Do not use bin in a moist or steamy environment.
- Do not place the bin next to a window.
Not following these instructions above can lead to permanent issues.
Transport issues.
- All bins are inspected to make sure they are fit for purpose. However, when these items
are transported they can lead to “dents”.
- Packaging is something that we continue to monitor and improve if needed.
